Overview
Refurbished in 2015 and featuring a private outdoor pool with sun loungers and parasols, Holiday Homes Oliva is set 800 metres from the well-known Zlatni Rat Beach. Each holiday home is air-conditioned and offers free WiFi. The centre of Bol is 1.2 km away. Comprising a balcony and a terrace with sea views, each holiday home provides a living room with a flat-screen satellite TV and a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and a microwave. Featuring a bath or a shower, private bathroom also comes with a hairdryer. Guests staying at Holiday Homes Oliva can also use complimentary barbecue facilities and an outdoor dining area. The ATP tennis centre is 200 metres from the property, while a variety of dining options can be found in the centre of Bol, 1.2 km away. “Not As Expected”
We booked 5 nights stay on the property but ended up only staying just 1 night. The property has two rentals we got the second house which was not as pictured. The AC was broken upon our arrival which no one took the effort to make us aware. They left a portable AC in the house which was loud, does not cool the area and the home was not equip to vent out the hot air return which defeats the purpose of the unit. It was 33-37 degrees everyday on the island so the home was too hot to stay in. We had to call the host on this and on the entertainment not working. Neither could be resolved in a timely manner. We had to book a last minute stay else where. This cause a huge inconvenient and we lost travel time to rectify the situation. Also, be warned there is so much ants on the property including the kitchen.

The pool was superb- and the location was great; we didn't hire a car and we didn't really need one - taxis into town were easy to come by, and the walk to the amazing nearby beach was easy (we cut through a hotel but no-one seemed to mind!).

“A lovely villa stay in Bol”
The villa was spotlessly clean and so was the pool which was a perfect size for a family. The owners were quick and responsive to any queries we had while we were staying in Bol. The villa is a little out of the main town up a hill but within easy walking distance to restaurants and the beach. The bonus of the location was that it was really quiet at night and the views from the terrace are stunning.
