Location right at the beach

I spent two wonderful days at Yurt Camp Svetlana. It is set in a beautiful fruit orchard right on the shores of Issyk-Kul Lake, making it an incredibly peaceful place to stay. My yurt was surrounded by cherry trees. The hosts are kind, generous, and always willing to help. The breakfast was excellent and a great way to start the day. This is not a place for busy sightseeing or activities. It is a place to relax in breathtaking surroundings, sunbathe by the lake, take peaceful walks, and spend the evenings gazing at stars. Yurt Camp Svetlana is a wonderful place to slow down and appreciate the natural beauty of Kyrgyzstan.

Location was close to all canyons main sightseeings in the south of lake, and 5 min away from the lake.

Very nice owner,always helpful.The location is comfortable,near the lake with a very nice view.You need to have a car,preferably 4×4 but we managed with a normal car,parking on site.Bathroom and showers are shared but no problem with warm water

Everything. The location is beautiful, the yurts are super clean and well-maintained, as are the bathrooms. The main yurt has tea and coffee, and the owner is very friendly and attentive. She even prepared dinner for me without me asking. Very kind. I highly recommend it and hope to return someday.

“Excellent yurt stay right by the lake, with great food and very welcoming staff”

Excellent place, right by the lake. Very comfortable yurt with great facilities. The staff were wonderful and helpful, we had a birthday in the group and they gave us flowers, birthday cake and a birthday hat. They even gave us a lift into town to catch a minibus at the end. Thoroughly recommend!

“Good guest house”

Just behind this guest house is the lake and nexdoor is the beautiful beach. You can enjoy a beautiful scenery all the time while staying. The meals are very delicious, and the room is so spacious and comfortable.

One of our favourite accommodations in Kyrgyzstan! The rooms are roomy and have very comfortable beds. The dining area is lovely, and we thoroughly enjoyed all our meals there, including breakfast and dinner. They even provided us with fresh fruits from their yard. The beach is just a short walk away, and the host was very helpful in arranging an eagle show for us.

Congul was very nice and helpful. She cook traditional food her kitchen clean and she is a good cooker. Location was very close to Yssyk Kul. We like Svetlana Guest House highly come back… highly recommended.

“Super nice stay”

The guesthouse is run by a super friendly couple who can help organize transport and local activities. They cook both breakfast and dinner which are varied and delicious. There are both rooms and yurts, both very nice. The beach is a few minutes on foot.

Small, extremely friendly family run guest house. Don’t miss to have dinner, it’s truly home cooked. The grandparents have me a lift to Kochkor for a very reduced rate.

This yurt stay was exceptional. Right on the shores of Issyk-Kul, super warm and comfy, amazing food, modern bathrooms, in an apricot orchard (delicious) and staff were quiet yet friendly. The perfect stay.

Everything was perfect, the best guesthouse! The family takes good care of their guests. The location is awesome, breakfast/ dinner very delicious and everything very clean. The beach is 1 minute walking away 😍. Thank you for making my stay in Issyk Kul unique. I would give you 11 stars, but booking only says 10
