Overview
The luxurious 4-star Superior Bohinj Eco Hotel is an oasis of peace and comfort set in Bohinjska Bistrica, at the edge of Triglav National Park, 6.5 km from Bohinj Lake and 20 km from Bled Lake. It offers accommodation with interior decoration made of natural materials, boasting panoramic views of the Julian Alps. Free WiFi is provided. Opened in June 2009, the award-winning Bohinj Eco Hotel is the first ecological hotel in Slovenia. It offers a filling station for electric and hybrid cars. The hotel's restaurant serves Slovenian and international cuisine, as well as special vegetarian and low-calorie dishes prepared with eco-certified ingredients of local origin. All rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows which can be wide open, as well as hypoallergenic carpets. Each room is air-conditioned and comes with floor heating, a flat-screen TV, bathrobes and slippers. Guests staying in most rooms have a free entrance to the Aquapark that spreads over 3.500 m2 and features indoor and outdoor pools, water slides and various water attractions for children. For an additional fee, they can also enjoy an exclusive wellness and spa area on the top floor of the Bohinj Eco Hotel including saunas and a pool offering panoramic views. In the winter months you can enjoy various activities, including skiing, ice skating on Bohinj Lake, winter hiking, ski-mountaineering, snowshoe hiking, winter horseback riding and much more. A storage room for ski equipment is available. Hiking, climbing and rafting opportunities, as well as adrenalin park can be found in the vicinity. Bike storage and bike rental are provided. Secured private parking is possible on site. The Savica Waterfall can be visited at a distance of 10 km.

“Excellent hotel with lots of amenities.”
The staff at the reception welcomed us warmly and explained everything. The rooms are clean, spacious, and modern. Breakfast and dinner were fantastic. You can choose whatever you like, and the food is tasty and plentiful. The only thing is that some rooms face the stream, which has quite noisy waterfalls if you keep the window open. But once the window is closed, the noise disappears, so it is not a problem. In one word, the hotel is impeccable, and I would recommend it to everyone.

Kids really enjoyed the water park. The view from the room was amazing. The sofa bed wasnt comfortable but the overall experience was very good

“Worth the visit”
The hotel rooms were big and very clean, bathroom was very good also. Location is 10/10 I you walk 4 minutes you are at a ‘spar’ lake Bohinj is an 10 minute drive, or about 10km on foot. Breakfast was very good, diner was very good also. You get a lot of choices, drinks were fine too. The personal speaks English, which makes communication very easy.

“An unforgettable stay.”
The hotel has a very good view of the snow mountains. The complimentary visit to the water park next to the hotel was very good experience, especially the mixed sauna.

“Nice extended weekend”
We were pleasantly surprised to receive an upgrade to a president suite. The room was spacious and the terrace with its stunning view was spectacular. Breakfast was delicious but dinner was average. For car drivers, there’s plenty of free parking.

Nice view from our hotel room of the mountains and a little river. Staff was nice. The acqua park was also nice. Good food and wines in the restaurant. Good breakfast

We decided to stay here because the reviews said it was great for the family and it included Aquapark. It was great to have access to the pool on the days with bad weather and pancake machine at breakfast is a show stopper for kids 🤭

The only positives of the hotel are the parking and the sauna area. (Parking is close to the hotel and the lot is spacious.)

“Everything was perfect!”
Very nice staff, amazing rooms. Had a room with high ceiling, nice balcony and great view! Had a really good sleep! Bathroom was also very nice! And lovely, lightning in the room. No big lights! The location was perfect, too. We had our own bikes, but if you don't have those you can borrow theirs, too. We went with bikes all the way to Lake Bohinj in Waterfall Savica! 30km both ways together. Amazing cycling! There's a road specially for cyclists so it was really safe. We also had included waterpark and saunas. Very beautiful! It all was so connected with nature and in green colors! No usual blue!! Anyway! As for food: great breakfast, a lot of choice! Everything for everyone. For kids, also. I think that with any diet you can find something for you. Also at dinner. Always something to choose from! Not to forget; you can also go bowling! Which we did! It's small but sooo nice! And every friday there's free cinema for guests, too!! Had a wonderful stay!!
