“Perfect Romantic Retreat”

This really is the perfect place to stay on Lake Bohinj. You can walk out your door into the lake for a morning Swim, enjoy beautiful hikes round the lake and go out to dinner along the near by lake path, great food with a million dollar view. It was very hard to leave.

The Apartment is located right near the Bohinj lake and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Parking at the accommodation was a bonus. The hosts are delightful, welcoming us warmly with coffee and cake!! They made our stay so special.

The house we stayed in was amazing, close to the lake, and we really loved it. The hosts brought us strudel, lemonade, and wine — all homemade and incredibly delicious. They are very kind people. The house has everything you need.

The owners were really nice. They were gracious hosts, we got a welcoming tray of coffee and drinks when we came. Also, they helped us with everything we approached them with and they were responsive for all of the info that we needed. Location couldn't be better, you are near the lake but still tucked away and the porch is a beautiful place to have a morning cup of coffee.

The location was amazing, just few steps away from the lake. Our host was very kind, he also welcomed us with a handmade Borovicka drink. The house is small but there is everything that you need.

very cosy and you can tell a lot of thought has gone into the space. the hosts were very kind and generous. it’s a nice space to relax in if the weather isn’t great. the kitchen is well equipped and everything has been well maintained. excellent location near the lake and a view of the river. highly recommend

Without a doubt the best stay on our roadtrip. Exceptional hosts who were super friendly and even offered home made liqueur to us. Apartment was spot on clean with everything we needed to cook/make breakfast. Location is super close to the lake and parking was provided as well. Highly recommended!

“Amazing stay in a beautiful location with excellent hosts”

We had a fantastic stay at Apartment Zalokar and really enjoyed our time in Bohinj and in the apartment. The hosts were exceptional and very friendly and helpful. They were easy to communicate with, very flexible with our shifting arrival time and providing us with a warm welcome with coffee and homemade treats when we got there. I also very much appreciated all the good and practical advice on things to do around the lake and in the area but also with regard to our onward journey. The apartment itself is lovely and very nicely arranged. It is great to have a little, calm and beautiful outside space too and the lake is literally opposite the property. There are a lot of activities in the area, great food and restaurants and the hospitality of the hosts is amazing...definitely a highlight of our overall fantastic stay in Slovenia. Thanks a lot!

“Amazing lake location. Friendly hosts. Paddle boarding heaven!”

We were late arriving due to a cancelled flight but it was really easy to communicate with the hosts through the booking.com email. They were responsive, helpful and understanding. We were on a paddle boarding trip and this apartment is just next to the lake so was absolutely perfect. It is beautiful inside- so carefully put together with everything you need and even a little sitting area on a veranda outside. Parking straight by the door. Hosts really friendly. We would love to stay again.

The homeowner was very kind and gave us lots of advices. The location of the accommodation was more than expected, it was almost next to the lake, quiet, and well equipped. The bed was huge and it was very comfortable! We even got some welcome drinks and muffins, so we felt welcome. There was a good Wifi connection as well, so when it rained, we could both use it.

We very satisfied with everything ... with the host, a cottage that offered had everything we needed for our short break. Most of all with the location ... a few steps to the lake. Really great!
