“A real gem in the mountains”

The flat was lovely and clean, beautiful view over the mountains, but the real gem was Lidija, she made us feel so welcome and gave us a lot of information.

“Exceptional”

The place is just perfect to discover Bohinj region. The apartment is exceptionally clean, everything works well, well equipped kitchen to prepare your meals. Lidija is really nice and welcoming, we discussed the hikes and places to visit in the region. She went above and beyond to help us when we had a problem with the car. The parking just in front of the door is also an advantage. We would definitely go back. The best lodging we visited during our stay!

“Felt right at home and didn't want to leave”

I absolutely loved my stay at Hiša Gorenc. The Murka apartment was very comfortable, clean, quiet and close to all the attractions: 18min from Bled, 10min from Bohinj. It was a few minutes walk to the town Bohinjska Bistrica, which had a bike rental with a couple of trails nearby, a few restaurants, grocery stores, a bank. What made my experience amazing was the host Lidija. She was so kind and helpful. For example, I asked where I could get cherries in the area and she found where they were selling them and got them for me. Lidija went above and beyond, and made me feel at home. I was so sad to leave, but I definitely will be coming back!

“Peaceful spot, great base!”

We had such a wonderful stay here! The room was exactly like in the pictures—clean, comfortable, and with an amazing view of the mountains. The location is perfect for exploring the area, right between Bohinj and Bled, and even Kranjska Gora is only about an hour away. There are restaurants and shops nearby, but you’re still far enough from the crowds and noise typical of Bled, which made it really relaxing. The hosts were very polite and welcoming throughout our stay. Would definitely come back!

“Fabulous apartment, lovely owner”

The owner, Lidija, was a lovely lady, so kind and helpful. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean with a well appointed kitchen but the private balcony with a gorgeous view was the icing on the cake. It's a short walk into town, but very close to a bus stop for shuttle buses to Bohinj lake.

“Exceptional Stay – Felt Like Home! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

I had a wonderful stay at Lidija’s beautiful home. She was an exceptional host – even offering to pick me up from the bus stop, although it was just a short 10-minute walk away. The house is in a fantastic location: very close to the village centre, yet peaceful and surrounded by nature, with breathtaking mountain views from the balcony. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a spotless en-suite bathroom. I appreciated the little touches like being able to watch TV in English. The small kitchen was well-equipped with everything you might need, including a handy coffee machine. From the moment I arrived, Lidija made me feel completely at home with her warm and welcoming attitude. I highly recommend this place to everyone – whether you’re travelling solo like me, or with family. High five! 👋

The apartment was outstanding. It was nice, clean and spacious, very well equipped. We had all the necessary appliances, and everything we needed for our 10 days stay. The host was lovely and and very approachable. Everything was perfect 10/10

Clean, spacious apartment with a balcony and a view of the surrounding mountains. The apartment was equipped with everything needed for our stay. The location is perfect for research in the Bohinj-Bled area with easy parking and away from crowded areas, but close enough. Lidija was always there to help with advice and info about the whole area and things to do. Information helped organize our stay in the best possible way. We felt very welcome and comfortable during our entire stay. We now have a place to stay when we come to this area. Thanks for everything! P.S. Cheese was delicious!

Very nice, modern, clean apartment with beautiful view of the Julian Alps from balcony, situated within a short walk of the centre of the picturesque town of Bohinjska Bistrica. Fantastic location for exploring Triglav National Park. Our host Lidjia was exceptionally helpful and welcoming, taking the time to collect us from the bus station on arrival, showing us where our bike hire, the local supermarkets and various bus stops on route to the apartment were. She also was kind enough to drop us back to the bus station when we were leaving. I could recommend Apartmaji Gorenc enough. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again. Mark :)

Lidija is probably the best host in Slovenia, she is very helpful and nice. She recommended some amazing trails I wouldn't otherwise consider. Her place is lovely decorated, very clean and well located. I would love to come back and stay at Apartmaji Gorenc again. Thank you so much for everything!

The accommodation was situated in a great spot, close to all possible hike destinations and tourists attractions (e.g. Bled). The owner gave us a lot of helpful tips and was really friendly. Well equipped and definitely value for the money.

A self catering apartment in a beautiful chalet style house. The rooms were very comfortable and spacious and the kitchen was extremely well equipped. There were shops nearby to buy food and several options for eating out.
