Right in the centre but also quiet. Important as the place is noisy! Very lovely staff available 24/7, very clean and organised place. Never had better sleep.

“Attractive comfortable hotel in excellent location”
Attractive old building, easy walk from Gold Museum, San Francisco, Bolívar Square and other central sites. Friendly and helpful staff, all speak sone English (one speaks good English). You have to ring the bell for admission, and they don’t open the inner gate till they have confirmed who you are. Comfortable beds.

A very pleasant place. Everything in the historic center is within walking distance, just a few minutes away. The reception was helpful with every request for support and advice, even the ones I sent over WhatsApp before I even arrived. Breakfast was cornflakes with milk, fruit, sweet pastries of the “vánočka” type, butter, jam, coffee, and tea. Nothing fancy, but just enough to kick off a great day.

“Highly recommend”
Highly recommend Hostal La Candelaria, friendly staff that are available 24 hours. Great location. Can walk to plaza Bolivica and to the base on Monserrat easily. Safe location. Comfortable clean rooms.
