the staff is amazing and verry flexible. they are helpful and care about your safety and wellbeing. i was able to check in before the official time and able tu store my luggage and use the facility after my check out

I'm so grateful I found this beautiful place after arriving in Colombia. Patricia and Gabriel create a familiar atmosphere which makes it super easy to connect with fellow travelers. Just have breakfast and you'll have a couple of new friends :)I kept extending and stayed more than a week in the end. The beds are comfy, the showers have warm water and there's space in the garden and the hut to play, practice yoga or just relax in a hammock. Plus it's an excellent place to visit plenty of attractions and experience la Candelaria. Gracias por todo, seguro que volveré! :)

Location, it's a great place to meet other travellers. Gabriel and Patricia are very nice and they look after their guests well. Thank you Gabriel and Patricia I enjoyed my stay.

Wonderful Hostel. It's a peaceful oasis. I loved to chill in the garden with the cats. I met many wonderful guests with a likewise mentality.

The hosts were wonderful and kind.

The staff were excellent. The simple breakfast was made with love every morning. The blankets were so weighty and snug. The place was filled with natural light. The neighbourhood is gorgeous, and while it's known for being a little dangerous, the front door system felt perfectly secure. The homely vibe was just right!

Patrice and Gabriel are just amazing human beings and host! They were so helpful, giving me all the possible information about what to do and how to be safe in the city. The breakfast was simple but amazing with fruits, bread, butter and jam and coffee. The kitchen is clean and complete with everything you will need to cook and the garden is very nice. There is even a room with games and to do yoga or dance with the other travelers! Absolutely recommended, one of the best hostels I've been

“Great days in Bogotá in a very welcoming hostel!”

Patricia and Gabriel are great hosts, make you feel at home and provide very good recommendations about Bogotá. A great breakfast, very welcoming atmosphere, and an incredible house with a nice backyard makes El Cedrón a great place to stay some days in Bogotá.

We stayed in the double bedroom. Provided a quiet nights sleep, perfect for weary travellers. Enough blankets to be very warm even as night temperature drops in Bogotá. Location is perfect for walking into Candelaria. Essentially we loved that this is not a party hostel. It’s an authentic space, in a literal family home, which looks and feels welcoming and relaxing. The kitchen/dining area is wonderful so too the garden with hammocks and building at the end of the garden where you can stretch and relax. Brilliant husband-wife duo who live there and run it.

This is the perfect place to stay for a couple of days to explore La Candelaria. The hostel is simple, but has everything you need. The staff is amazing, cooks good meals, is helpful and flexible. Highly recommended!

Very very friendly owners who helped me when I was sick. Really wonderful people. Comfortable beds, I was happy with the breakfast of fruits and bread, many bathrooms. Excellent location. Good security. Good kitchen with all you need.

unbelievably friendly staff/owners. to the extent they feel like my Colombian parents. beautiful hostel. lots of outdoor space, fresh air, and light. great breakfast in the morning with home made jam and lots of great recommendations for activities and explanations of the culture.

Gabriel and Patricia really look after you! Breakfast is basic but enough. Dorms are comfortable and plenty of sitting space inside, outside and in the games room at the back. They are very aware of your safety and if you order an Uber, will wait outside with you until it arrives. Nice walk into the main part of town and plenty of places to eat close by.
