“Absolutely lovely! Total reset.”

The property is in the middle of nowhere, but only a couple of miles from the nearest shop. You can ask for the WiFi password, or you can go dark and actually have a holiday. There’s no TV which is a joy. My husband and I played scrabble, battleships. We chatted! We watched stuff on the iPad together and read many, many books. It was like an olden days holiday! Our adult children panicked because we were uncontactable! We had to go out to reassure them all was well. It was lovely.

The accomodation is great. You have the use of an entire cottage with a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and outdoor eating area. The hosts live in another house next door. The swimming pool is a real highlight. The area is idyllic, very peaceful and quiet despite being just a 10-15 min drive from Iztuzu beach, which is a well-known tourist destination. The hosts are lovely. They are Turkish but can speak Arabic as well. They were very flexible about the check-in and -out times and they gave us breakfast.
