The accommodation was absolutely amazing. There are plenty of great facilities downstairs in the kitchen area, including an authentic Irish bar with a really friendly atmosphere. The host was wonderful, very welcoming and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The location is excellent, close to everything we needed. Everything was perfect and we felt really good during our stay. We would definitely come back and highly recommend this place.

We really liked the cozy ambiance of the lodge and its Irish pub. Ida was very welcoming, and the continental breakfast with homemade jams and soda bread was delicious.

We stayed here as a family of 4 - parents and teenage boys. We had 2 excellent rooms. The home was lovely, including the rooms and the social space downstairs- the breakfast area and the awesome honesty bar, plus the outdoor space. The breakfast was excellent and very generous, including fresh homemade soda bread and cakes! Best of all, the hosts live next door and are a lovely Irish / Slovak family. They were very friendly and always happy to advise on activities and places to go. That was greatly appreciated and really helped us to make the most of our time. The local area has beautiful countryside and walks, plus places like huge caves (amazing) and you can get a cable car up Chopok mountain for an excellent walk on the top.

I loved it. Every single minute of my stay at this place was amazing. Room was cosy, bar downstairs is perfect place if you want to just chill and enjoy yourself. Really enjoyed home made scones and bread for breakfast. Owner? What a great guy. Probably the nicest guy you ever met. Will be coming back. No doubt.

“Lovely, warm and welcoming calm stay”

Tatra´s are so beautiful. It far exceeded my expectation. The lodge is located close to Liptovský Mikuláš, as well as two huge caves and mountains - you can travel to all the places by bus which takes only a few minutes. We went to Chopok and walked on mountain tops. We only stayed one day, since we did not have more time to stay. We hope to come back later this year. The lodge itself is well built with many details, decorations and also a garden to chill or have a beer or whisky (we can totally recommend you try some). The owner is such a nice and interesting person, very easy to talk to also.
