“convenient location but depends on where you have to go”
Only the location, but that was deliberately chosen from the point of travel to work. Quiet place but it was during the week and I think it's just the quiet location Breakfast to my amazement was all fresh, the fruit could be seen to have been cut in the morning, the fresh bread orange juice was the real juice and not packaged orange juice.

“Simply the best accommodation on our road trip from Finland to Spain!”
This place is a true gem in the idyllic old town of Mainz. We made the booking and arrived late in the night by a coincidence, after our car had broke down on our way from Helsinki, Finland to Torrevieja, Spain. In the morning we woke up to the birds singing and had a lovely breakfast. The hotel personnel was so kind, especially the lovely Maria who helped us find a car service to fix the problem, made phone calls for us in German and stayed with us when we needed an interpreter with the service guys and towing car driver by the street. Without her we would have been completely clueless in a foreign country. Thank you so much, Maria, you are an angel <3 We warmly recommend Landhotel Battenheimer Hof to anyone travelling in Germany. The whole reception personnel is very helpful, friendly and speaks excellent English!
