“Comfortable spacious clean Caribbean style house in the jungle along Wizard beach path, w/ Sea View”

Suyi & JJ are wonderful hosts maintain a clean comfortable Caribbean house. They made us feel welcome during our 4 nights. They live nearby & grew up in the village which reassured us. They also provided helpful general safety tips for the area. Communication was great. Suyi provided detailed directions with videos to find the house. It was nice that they both checked in with us throughout our stay to ensure we were ok whilst also respecting our space to relax. The house is a spacious 2 bedrooms; a nice change to staying in a hotel. It’s built on stilts & nestled in the path leading to the 20 minute jungle hike to Wizard beach. We were lucky with the climate - the jungle was dry and it was safe to swim (it can be known to be muddy with riptides). Life is colourful & lively amongst the local community. There are many things to observe from the balcony; the neighbours’ passion for music throughout the day, the animals, and the sea view. The spacious wraparound balcony was incredible to appreciate morning coffee. Other highlights: Big walk-in shower, wood flooring, dimmable ceiling lights, American fridge with filtered rainwater and ice maker. Good Wi-Fi connection, Spacious lounge with comfortable sofas. The AC worked well from both bedrooms along with the lounge ceiling fans. Hot water was great. We didn’t have cleaning/fresh linens during the 4 nights; but if we stayed longer we might have asked if it could be arranged. The kitchen is well equipped. The filter coffeemaker, cutlery, basic utensils/cutlery were useful even though we opted to dine out as to not invite jungle critters. Suyi’s mum also offers laundry service, and we booked our boat taxi with her father back to Bocas. The location is convenient. There are a couple of mini supermarkets within 5-10 minutes walk of the house. A handful of restaurants are less than 15 minutes walk, as is the main port for taxi boats.

A whole house to ourselves. Super spacious, fantastic views, great aircon, more facilities than you'll ever use. The best location amongst local families and right on the trail to wizard Beach and restaurant very close by. Great security

“Great hosts, fantastic views and brilliant location”

Fantastic location a 25 minute walk from wizard beach. Incredible hosts, JJ and Suyi are just such wonderful people, nothing was too much trouble. located near Mami’s restaurant and the waterfront. JJ organised the most incredible day trip for us. comfy beds and smelt lovely and clean on arrival. great views across Bastimentos. would highly recommend.

I loved the location and the hosts. The house is in the local village and was great to see how people live and interact with them. Beautiful village and houses. It wasn't noisy despite being close to other houses. It was very easy to move around to other places and beaches from there. Big, spacious house.

Suyi and JJ are fantastic hosts, always inquiring if we needed anything, always a text away. The property itself is spacious and lovely, with a wide, panoramic balcony that overlooks the bay and most of Old Bridge. The kitchen was well supplied and we were able to buy basic things (rice, oil, tortillas, canned meats and veg) at the store less than 10 minutes away. It was lovely to be in nature and yet not too far away from amenities. Solid internet, not too speedy but reliable and plenty good for being on a fairly remote island.

The house was big and amazing, very comfy and included everything you need for enjoying your stay. Kids also liked the place and especially access to Netflix :). Suyi and JJ were very friendly and welcome, were glad to help and advice on how to enjoy the stay on islands, and we really enjoyed.

The host was waiting for us in the house to arrive, she is the most friendly and welcoming lady. The house is really relaxing although it might be an idea to have a bit more comfortable chairs to sit outside on the porch, because that is the best place to relax. Our host welcomed us as said and was extremely helpful to get us adjusted to Panama and gave us lots of tips on trips to make. We really enjoyed our stay. thnx
