Drew & Tamara together with their team are doing a great job , creating on Isla Solarte a timeless bubble full of different impressions & possibilities ....sleeping over the water in a comfy way , eating a excellent breakfast , having a gourmet dinner, chatting with the owners about the local life , walking trough the tropical forest , snorkel after sea stars or head for a coffee & some shopping to Bocas Town, and last but not least have some surf lessons :)....

Facilities were amazing and the food was great (breakfast and dinner) and creative with local ingredients. However, most importantly the owners / hosts Drew and Tamara are awesome. They have truly created a super personal and beautiful accommodation which we really enjoyed. They also helped out with tours, transportation etc and were generally flexible.

“Fantastic Bungalow with wonderful people and welcome.”
Amazing location and the owners communication from enquiring about Sol Bungalows to staying in them was excellent and very informative. I was doing a tour of Panama with my 12 year old daughter and my older daughter and her partner so I was looking for a special place to stay and Sol Bungalows had it all. Drew and Tamara are exceptional hosts and have thought of everything to make your stay at Sol Bungalows an experience that you will enjoy and remember as they know the area and have great knowledge of what to do while in the area. The paddle boards, kayak and snorkels were great to make the most of the location even when it rains. Tamara can offer a massage during your stay which I would highly recommend. We had breakfast each morning during our stay and dinner which was presented beautifully and tasted fantastic. Fantastic few nights and the accommodation was amazing with a lovely welcome drink on the deck when we arrived so Thank you Drew, Tamara and staff for a lovely stay.

“Hidden gem in Carenero ...Bocas del Toro”
Hidden gem. A new venture in hospitality on Bocas del Toro. Breath-taking views, total relaxation over turquoise waters. Excellent food mixing local ingredients and haute cuisine techniques. Extreme care on details, ecofriendly toilet amenities. A perfect place for romance, for a escapade with friends or to be relaxed with your family! Last but not least...overwater bungalows are creating their own reef in an area of transition near to mangroves. A good project well managed from heart by vibrant souls trying to support local communities and promote respect to local environment. Chapeau!!!
