Overview
Bordering the crystalline waters of the Caribbean Sea, the Hotel Bocas del Toro offers elegant rooms with free Wi-Fi. It has a restaurant opening onto the sea, and is a 5-minute walk from the airport. Elegantly decorated in nautical style, each room at the Bocas del Toro includes a flat-screen cable TV, air conditioning, hair dryer, coffee machine with organic coffee, handmade coconut bath amenities and complimentary beach towels. Some of them have a balcony or terrace. Located on a deck over the water, the restaurant has a Caribbean menu, offering seafood and local dishes, and a lobby/street bar with TV and tropical cocktails. A breakfast buffet is served every morning, and a snack bar with TV area is also available. The staff can arrange a tour along the archipelago and the coral reef, where diving, snorkelling and kayaking are also possible. The Carenero Island is a 1-minute boat ride away. An airport shuttle can also be arranged upon request.

The location of the hotel in central Bocas and the view overlooking the water were excellent. The restaurant and bar provided great food and an enjoyable place to relax.

“Great location, great drinks!”
Location was great, room had balcony over looking the water. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Drinks at the bar were excellent, strong and tasty.

“Nice place with good staff but noisy and hard to sleep”
The central location was both a plus and a minus, easy to get around and bearings, terrible for noise. The restaurant is fantastic and the staff are wonderful but the soundproofing is non existent in the rooms and the party bares until 4am and the next door café’s cleaners played pop romantic Latin music from 5.30 am onwards, full blare.

“Good location, ok hotel, over-priced”
The location is excellent in the center of the main street of Bocas and I also had a beautiful view of the sea. There are good restaurants and cafes on the street and the airport is not far away. The hotel is pleasant, not too big and my room was clean and beautiful.

“Couldn’t have asked for more!”
It may have been a little pricey for the area, but I think it was totally worth it. The staff was great. The room was comfortable, quiet and easily accessible. Maria went out of her way taking care of my room and serving breakfast as well as loaning me towels for the beach! Everybody at the front desk was friendly and accommodating as well! I love my visit and have every intention of staying there again next time I’m in town!
