Staying at the newly renovated DBP was incredible. We were welcomed to a private part of the island by Marcus, the owner—warm, gentle, and genuinely attentive—who made sure our stay exceeded expectations. It happened to be my wife’s birthday, and Marcus and his local team went out of their way to make it unforgettable. Bonus points for DBP’s eco-friendly vision and passion. And the unbelievable wow factor? Kayaking through the bay alongside pods of dolphins—pure magic for any nature lover!

“Beautiful bit of paradise.”

This place is stunning. Our room had a balcony overlooking the bay which we could watch for hours, you might spot dolphins! Right from the start Feder and Remo couldn’t do enough for you, extremely helpful with anything you need, days out, boat trips etc. Every single meal is amazing, it’s all fresh produce from their garden or local and you can really tell, I think they should do a recipe book because I’d buy it! The surrounding grounds are beautiful, the trees and palms are stunning and bring in wonderful birds. If you feel this is too quiet one day Bocas is only 30 mins by boat and any day trips are available. We’d love to come back one day, it’s a bit of paradise. Thank you Remo, Feder, Yu and Marcus.

“Vivere un sogno”

We chose this location because we wanted to enjoy the tranquility of the sea and live in the midst of nature. Thanks to the location, as well as the owners and the service staff, we achieved our goal. The place is splendid; in the morning and evening, we could see dolphins dancing not far from the shore. The restaurant delighted us every day with different and excellent dishes. The name of the location corresponds perfectly to the place. Well done to everyone, and we hope to return soon. We were offered boat excursions to visit the nearby islands, which were splendid. For the first of these excursions, the restaurant prepared a fantastic packed lunch for us, and once we arrived on the island, the captain set up a table and chairs on the beach. Then, with a machete, they opened coconuts and served fresh drinks – it was fantastic. The island was deserted for several hours, just as the owner had announced, and we took advantage of this wonderful opportunity to explore it completely. Thank you again for this experience.

We stayed 6 days at Dolphin Blue Paradise, and paradise it was! We had such a peaceful and relaxing stay. Yuh, Remo and Fede were the kindest hosts, available at all times and giving us all the attention we needed and we really enjoyed being able to talk with them so much. Dolphin Blue Paradise is a beautiful place, isolated with the jungle behind, dolphins and sloths nearby, and only a boat ride away from turquoise waters, starfish and tropical birds. Grab a paddle or a kayak in the early morning and slide on the smooth surface of the water before the sun gets up, it’s fantastic. The food was just as good. Every breakfast and dinner is homemade with local products (fish, eggs, fruits etc), every day new original recipes. We couldn’t recommend it enough and definitely want to come back again!

This young couple is the nicest hosts we’ve ever had and they do everything to make your stay unforgettable. A big thank you to Federico and Josephine for their incredible welcome and their kindness! We had a memorable stay, despite the bad weather, they took care of us and above all... they cook divinely well. We particularly appreciated the fact that the products used for cooking came directly from the garden or from local producers, as well as the homemade bread prepared for breakfast! The place is beautiful, view on the bay, you can borrow a paddle or a Kayak to go around and meet the dolphins! In short, the Dolphin is a real paradise as much for its location as for its beauty and hospitality!

“Peaceful place in a natural paradise”

Peaceful and relaxing spot in Bocas del Toro, it’s such a beautiful place surrounded by the rainforest. Marcus and Yu were helpful throughout all our stay, we felt so confortable. The food is excellent, getting the best of the local produce. A bonus: you can see so much wildlife, we could see sloths, dolphins, starfish or stickrays in there!

The hotel and its location is great! The breakfast was delicious in the over water restaurant with its amazing view. We really enjoyed our stay in dolphin bay and saw some dolphins on our way there and in the evening. The new owners of the hotel are great, they are caring, really helpful and super nice! They try to make everything perfect for you. For lunch and dinner you can order food in the restaurant. The food in the restaurant is really good! We want to come back.

We really enjoyed our three nights here. Beautiful surroundings and peaceful area. The owner (Julie) and Laurent were so nice and helpful and also a very good cook. You can really sense that this is their life project. We really enjoyed the free activities (paddle board and kayaking). We went early in the morning and saw so many dolphins. The chocolate tour “next door” is highly recommended too.

Dolphin Blue Paradise is a wonderful Place to stay. Everything is great: the rooms, the food, the owners and the staff. We even saw Dolphins. Also they offer different excursions and you can use Standup Paddle,Kayak and Snorkel Gear for free. We also tried fresh bananas and coconut directly from the garden, which was great. We defintley recommend to stay there if you want to relax and get in touch with nature. It was a wonderful experience for us.

Dolphin Blue Paradise was definitely the best accomodation in Panama during our 14 day stay. Perfect place, flawless service, amazing food and friendly owners! 11/10 stars !! Definitely recommended to everyone who wants to relax and have the best experience of the Carribean side of Panama as well as a sporty (waterskiing, snorkling) holiday. Trips to nearby islands are highly recommended, boat crew is friendly and helpfull.
