“A Magical Escape with Warm Hospitality Despite a Minor Disruption”
My stay at Isla Palenque was truly magical. From the moment I arrived, everything was beautifully curated. The attention to detail was immaculate, and every part of the experience felt thoughtfully planned. The staff were incredibly kind and made me feel completely at home—special thanks to Pathy for her warmth and care, to Captain Ricardo for the unforgettable boat rides, and to the lovely driver Carlos who made every journey a joy. Everything ran so smoothly, from the activities to the meals, and the island itself is nothing short of breathtaking.

Truly one of the best places I've stayed. The staff were absolutely amazing, anticipating all our needs and going above and beyond in every way (Carlos and Guillermo delivering greeting us after our morning kayak with green juice, Benny serving up delicious custom cocktails, Iris who gave us the most incredible deep massage, Benny arranging all the experiences we wanted, putting up with our terrible dance moves, and making sure all our needs were taken care of... I could go on and on.) And then there is the place itself! The cabanas were heavenly – the mattress was a cloud and that outdoor shower was truly one of the best either of us have ever had. Add in the monkeys and sunset views right out our front door? Wow. Will be dreaming of this place for a long time, and hope to someday return!

It was truly a wonderful stay. The island is the best place on earth to recharge and disconnect, everything is beautiful (the nature itself but the design of the hotel as well!) and I have never seen such a caring and professional staff. The food is incredible too (fresh, high quality and creative - we are French and Italien so have a bit of high standards in this respect) and they are always happy to make adjustments to comply with your dietary restrictions. Thanks again to the team who made our stay an amazing experience.
