“Great hosts, excellent pool, good location.”
Erika and Herbie are excellents hosts and super helpful. Boca Chica is very small but a beautiful place to visit. The hosts gave us local knowlege and organized our island tour (bring cash). Every morning was a lovely breakfast. The infinity pool overlooks the ocean and the view is awesome. With the hosts being so welcoming, it's hard not to love this place. They also have a self-serve cooler with wine, beer and soda. We swam in the ocean off the islands and the water was incredibly warm. There is another beach past Hermosa, that we also enjoyed.

“Fabulous stay in Boca Chica”
What a fabulous stay! The best thing wasn't the immaculately clean room, the comfy bed, the tasty breakfast, the swimming pool, the amazing view or the sound of the howler monkeys...it was the hospitality of the lovely hosts, Herbie and Erika. They are warm, welcoming and such fun! I was entertained for the duration of my stay....

The facilities are very well cared and maintained. Everything is clean and very comfortable. This wonderful place is surounded by a beautiful forest. You wake up every morning to birds singing or monkeys houling. Erika and Herbie are wonderful people who made us feel like part of the family.

“Warm, clean, loving and beautiful.”
Excellent place! Boca Chica Bay Eco Lodge has everything you'd need, for visitors that like to explore. Herbie and Erika are extremely accomodating, and have a couple of rules for guests to follow. These rules are basic - such as "don't litter", "no boomboxes", "appear for breakfast on time" and help ensure that the place stays pristine. Breakfast is assembled in front of you, exactly to your liking. If you're not careful, you can dream the day away, in their spotless pool with a view over the entire bay, with dramatic sunsets.

This place has a spectacular view, with hummingbirds all over the garden in the pool area, making it an excellent place to just relax and reset. The owners are very caring and great hosts!

The hosts Erika and Herbie were exeptionally friendly and always helpful. They provided us with many valuable tips for our outingd and even helped us book the trips. Everything was very well maintained and perfectly clean. The view was absolutely stunning - a true highlight of our stay. Highly recommended!

“Fantastic retreat away from hustle and bustle with nature at your door!”
The Casita is a separate cottage with views of the ocean and the jungle. The breakfasts were delicious and a lovely way to meet the other guests. We were also able to make simple meals for ourselves so didn’t need to go out to eat which was a big plus for us. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing which was just what we needed at the end of our Panamanian exploration.

“Stunning views!”
The property is lovely with a stunning view. Facilities are very comfortable, and the owners are absolutely amazing. We visited about 5 years ago and loved it so much, we came back again. There are some great restaurants close by that are fabulous. Boat tours of the island beaches and mangroves were amazing. Road access has significantly improved since the last time we visited.

“A beautiful lodge with the perfect hosts”
Loved everything! The location was perfect, the view from our room and the terrace over the bay and islands was incredible and the peace and quiet for bird watching was lovey. The whole lodge was beautifully kept and spotlessly clean and the infinity pool was amazing. But what topped everything was the hospitality of our hosts Herbie and Erika, they made us so welcome, we felt as if we were part of the family, they were just the best hosts! Breakfast was really good too, thank you both for making our stay perfect!

“Beautiful hotel with great view”
Our casita had a microwave and a coffee machine. It was very clean and comfortable. The view from the hotel is amazing and the stars are wonderful at night. The breakfast was very good. Thank you for everything, Erika and Herbie!

“10/10 stay! Definitely book for a unique experience that’s not just a “hotel””
The hosts made our stay incredible! Super friendly and funny and helpful! It felt like we were staying with distant family friends we had never met before! The views from the pool are incredible! We even saw howler monkeys in the trees! Had a feast for breakfast! And they helped us book an island hopping tour with ease!
