Overview
Located 71 km south from Valemount, the remote Bone Creek Wilderness Retreat offers 5 cabins with full kitchen facilities. Free WiFi is provided. Mountain views can be enjoyed. Each unique cabin at Bone Creek Wilderness Retreat features a dining area. A private bathroom is included in 4 of the cabins, and an outdoor flush toilet in the smaller 5th cabin. Guests staying at Hunter's Cabin will have complimentary use of the outdoor shower. The retreat is located in the middle of the woods and there are wild animals in the surroundings such as bears, cougars and wolves, however the property has large dogs for protection. Guests should also come prepared with bug spray and bear bells if possible. It is necessary to go buy groceries ahead of arrival as there aren't many food options nearby. BBQ facilities, fire pits, picnic tables and a children’s playground are featured on site at Bone Creek Wilderness Retreat. A 24 hour reception is available upon request. Hiking, sledding, snowboarding and cross country skiing are accessible from this accommodation. North Thompson River is just 7 minutes' walk away. Maps provided for Duffy Peaks waterfall for an outdoor adventure.

Nice remote place near Blue River. The cabin is comfortable and nicely equipped.

“Great remote setting, friendly host, eclectic rustic and comfortable cabin”
The remote location was a plus for me. However we didn’t bring enough supplies for the overnight stay and had to drive 25kms back to Blue Lake for food. The rustic cabin was small inside but cosy. The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed a good nights sleep. The horn noise from passing trains was a bit sad as it detracted from the remote setting, but not too much of a problem. The host was very friendly and helpful. There was a eclectic mix of old, bespoke and new fittings which was interesting.

Beautiful place in the forest. The host was super nice and helpful. The cabin got everything you need with a perfect kitchen. Bring bug spray, tons of mosquitos, but with bug spray it's okay.

Very nice place. We had a great time. The cabin we got was simple, but very cozy and comfortable. Full kitchen with everything you need. Cute with very thoughtful details. We would definitely stay there again. Mickie and the dogs were super welcoming!

“Not enough wilderness for us”
The cabin was cute, comfortable and clean. A great deal of cooking appliances were provided. The satellite tv worked. As there were no lights - the stars were magnificent.
