Located on 20 acres of forested land with trails, Bowering Lodge is 14.4 km from Thornbury. Free WiFi access is available. On-site parking is provided at no extra cost. Each apartment has a private entrance, a balcony and a seating area. All rooms have private bathrooms and a kitchen or kitchenette. Towels, linens and basic amenities are provided. Many outdoor adventures can be arranged through associated company "Eagle Adventure Experiences". These include snow shoeing, mountain biking, hiking, stand up paddle-boarding, canoeing and kayaking. Rock climbing and caving are possible just 5 minutes' drive away (advance booking needed). Blue Mountain Ski Resort and Village, as well as the Scenic Caves development, are within 20 minutes' drive.

The place had bbqs and a multiple rooms. The fact that most rooms had a kitchenette and bathroom was definitely plus but the bbqs were extremely dirty and outdated. The bedrooms were a good size but with very outdated and uncomfortable furniture. The Murphy bed was the mostcomfortablebed.

You don't have to worry about the shoes in the room. If you want to take them off inside, I recommend that you bring your slippers.

“Fantastic”
amazing scenery lovely host Richard went above and beyond. The lodge had great character and the beds were so comfortable. Everything you could possibly need we will definitely be back .
