We did not book a cottage/cabin, but we book a room in the main log building with self contained washroom. The room is clean, comfy and basic, but the common kitchen is fully equipped and dining hall huge and comfortable. While I book this accommodation, there was no mention of a common kitchen and dining facilities. Oh and there’s also a fridge in the room. No TV in the room but there’s a 65” TV in the common area which is great.

Solid experience, lovely location. There were no other guests so it was super quiet, and perhaps a little desolate. Really wonderful location.

Room was large and clean. Wonderful kitchen facilities, made it easy to have a good breakfast. Owner/host was pleasant and helpful.

We didn't rent a room with breakfast but we were allowed to use the dining/kitchen facilities.

Nice modern accommodation in the Guest House. Very comfortable room and en-suite bathroom. Some early evening noise from the next room but it wasn’t a problem. Had access to a very large well equipped kitchen and dining area. Pleasant staff. Short walk to the restaurant across the road.

Great location on way from North to West Iceland. Room was comfortable and had everything we needed. Great facilities.

Spacious accommodation for a family. Large kitchen available, with absolutely great equipment. Nearby is a shop, playground, swimming pool with water slides.

Beautiful place, very cozy and clean. Close to town, but extremely quiet and silent during the night. Shared kitchen well furnished and spotless clean. Friendly and helpful staff.

Very good equipped kitchen and large dining room. Different rooms available, we had one with private bathroom. Very clean and the location was easy to be found.

Nice cottage but quite worn out. Kitchen equipped. Evrything clean. Toilet paper and paper towel at disposition. Parking next to the cottage. Functioning heaters. Jacuzzi on the terrace (no time to use it).

Very comfortable and spacious cottages, well equipped, clean and cosy. Comfortable beds, all amenities available, beautifully located. For sure this is value for money. Larus, our host is amazing , kind and very welcoming! Highly recommended!
