I rarely rate accommodation 10/10, but The Homestead is one of a kind. This was my second stay here, and I hope it is not the last. Riaan, the owner, contacted me before I arrived in Bloemfontein and WhatsApped me later that evening after I booked in to confirm that everything was in order. The room was clean and tidy, and even the smallest detail was given attention to.

I stayed at The Homestead in Bloemfontein this past long weekend, and honestly… what a beautiful experience. From the moment I arrived, everything felt peaceful, warm, and thoughtfully put together. The atmosphere is calm and refreshing, the space is clean and well-kept, and you can really tell that care goes into every detail. It truly feels like a home away from home. What truly stood out for me was the exceptional hospitality from the owner. He went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable, regularly checking in to see if I needed anything. That level of care and attentiveness made my stay even more special and personal. I loved everything about my stay — the comfort, the tranquility, and the overall energy of the place. It was exactly what I needed to rest and reset. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and welcoming stay in Bloemfontein. I will definitely be coming back. The Homestead was exceptional. I was warmly welcomed by the owner. The room was tastefully decorated, smelled wonderful, and attention to detail was evident. Riaan, the owner, was constantly in contact via WhatsApp, and I felt well looked after. The Homestead is definitely my new and favourite go-to accommodation in Bloem.
