Overview
Overlooking the Wicklow Mountains and Blessington Lakes, the award-winning Abhainn Ri Cottages offers self-catering accommodation with free WiFi and free onsite parking. Located in Wicklow, the houses are just 40-minute drive from central Dublin. Featuring a country cottage style, each house offers a kitchen with a dishwasher and a washing machine. The kitchen includes a ceramic hob with an oven and a grill, along with a selection of kitchenware. With a garden, the houses have a living and dining area with a log burning stove and a smart TV with a DVD player. There are 3 en-suite bedrooms. Guests staying at Abhainn Ri Cottages can visit the farm animals, play in the barn and walk to the lake shore. Breakfast is available on request. The area surrounding Abhainn Ri Cottages is home to beaches, historic houses, and gardens. Guests can take the Grand Tour of Wicklow and Kildare by car or visit Russborough House, just 5-minute drive away.

This is a beautiful location to stay. We had a group utilising 3 of the cottages. The only downside was the early check out time.

“Fab house and host”
Location was great for us as we were heading to Kaleidoscope festival with our family and the animals where a bonus for our kids. House is the best equipped house we have stayed in she has everything you would need and even when there was no pods for clothes wash she was down within minutes of me texting her with some. They even baked us some cake and biscuits 😍

The most beautiful location with stunning views. Hosts accommodated our very late arrival which was great. Tea, coffee milk cake and biscuits lovely surprise and very welcome. Kitchen very well equipped.

“Beautiful place to stay”
The location is stunning. We were blessed with good weather too. The cottage was clean, comfortable, well furnished and had everything we needed. Communication with the owners was easy and promptly responded to. All three bedrooms had their own bathroom which was a bonus. Well equipped kitchen if you wanted to self cater. Lovely views from every room over the farmlands to the lake and mountains. The farm animals were friendly and lovely to watch. We enjoyed the farm walk down to the lake. A car is essential as the farm is off the beaten track though easy to find on Google maps and a short 15 minute drive to Blessington with many places to eat, takeaway establishments and supermarkets. Would highly recommend.

Everything about the property is fabulous, except the shower in the downstairs en-suite could do with a bigger head and greater water pressure.

The accommodation was very clean, warm and welcoming. The home made cake and biscuits were very much appreciated. Our hosts were very friendly. Our grandsons particularly liked the farm walk with the lambs, donkeys, goats and young foal.
