“Dreamy!!!!”

Absolutely everything!!! The fastidiously clean cottage was so very cosy, with all the added touches of home. The extras were considerable with an abundance of yummy eggs, bread, butter, spreads, milk, nuts, fruit, yoghurt, coffee and chocolate.

“Idyllic location with a luxury feel and warm hospitality”

This is one of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed. The warm welcome was accompanied by fresh bread and milk, peaches and walnuts from the garden, lots of very specific tips and advice. There’s a lovely little heated pool and hot tub. We loved feeding the deer, sheep and chickens. We were treated like favourite friends rather than paying guests.

We had a fabulous stay in the gorgeous and incredibly comfortable Woolshed. We loved our hosts hospitality and local knowledge. The family loved feeding the animals and the pool and spa. We look forward to returning again!

Fantastic communication from Sharon - very welcoming. I was blown away as every detail was taken care of, from the breakfast provided with home made bread, jam/honey and eggs from the chickens. Beautiful bathroom products too. We stayed in the Shearer's Quarters for three nights, which was perfect. Nice and quiet. Lovely grounds to walk around in. Would stay again!

Lovely cottage which is thoughtfully and perfectly equipped. Works well for couples and also for families. There is sheep, reindeers and chickens on the property. You get breakfast essentials including fresh eggs. We had a wonderful time.

Fantastic property. Units are thoughtfully stocked, wonderfully decorated and super comfortable and impeccably clean. Wish we could have stayed longer. Great views of vineyards and friendly sheep and deer. They offer to arrange in-room evening meals, the meat and cheese board was perfect.

This property sits in the middle of the vineyards. All within easy reach by car or taxi. It was tranquil and relaxing. We enjoyed the fantastic views with sundowners each evening sitting outside the cottage. The smell of the lavender added to the mood. Afterwards we lit the stove inside. Jason came with more logs and kindling in case we ran out. At a reasonable extra cost we ordered a charcuterie platter one evening. It was generous in size and delicious. Fresh eggs from their own hens were provided in the cottage along with milk, bread, butter/jam/marmalade. On leaving we needed a large taxi for all our luggage for the airport which Jason organised for us the night before we left.

Wonderful renovation has made these cottages super comfortable. Great bathroom with recent fittings, good electric heating complemented by a pot belly fire for ambience. Kitchen is perfect for light meals. Hosts are responsive and informative with lots of local recommendations. Great views of the adjacent vineyards and super friendly animals😃. Do yourself a favour and avail of the evening meal packs. Perfect to heat and eat without leaving the home. Throw rugs, extra towels and lots of little touches make The Cottage a delight to stay in.

The location is perfect for visiting the local wineries. Since the property is out of town a bit, it is quiet and very relaxing. Loved just taking a stroll around and feeding the sheep and deer. The hosts are wonderful and very helpful with tips on where to go.

Exceptional. If you want to feel the both vineyard and village life as well as proximity to nearest town, this is the place. Very polite and helpful owner on top.

Winemakers cottage overlooks a vineyard and is quite private. The cottage is beautifully designed and fitted out. The bed was very comfortable and there is plenty of room for storage/suitcases etc. We used the fireplace which made it very homely and cosy. We were provided with breakfast provisions including fresh eggs, bread, jams, and it was nice to not have to rush out in the mornings and just enjoy the sunshine over the vines and the peace and quiet. The grounds are very attractive with fruit trees and some animals to feed.

“Peaceful oasis with positive surprises”

Aside from the accommodation itself, the suggested dine-in meals that can be ordered an delivered to the room were surprisingly good. It was not salty yet very flavourful. The hosts were thoughtful in every aspect - from the respect to nature (reflected in choice of products used, for example, to picking up some home grown walnuts for us to taste after we mentioned that we wanted to look at the walnut tree.
