Spring Creek Holiday Camp sits nestled in wine country, with St Clair Family Estate Cellar Door, and Hunters Wines within a 5-minute drive. Marlborough Airport is a 12-minute drive from the property. Guests have access to shared kitchen facilities and a lounge area. Some rooms also include a kettle, toaster and a small refrigerator. The property offers a children’s playground and free parking. Guests can also feed Eddie the Eel who lives in a nearby stream.

I was bitten by some insects in the bed. Unsure if they were bedbugs but it wasn't pleasant. I've stayed in far nicer places for similar money in NZ. I would definitely never return here.

I stayed in a private room in the backpackers lodge. The bunk beds were super comfortable proper wooden bunks with slats not springs, and good mattresses. Sheet, pillow, duvet. Facilities clean and just perfect for a budget nights stay on the way to the ferry

“Not again because of the owners bad temper.”
The owner was extremely short and rude toe when I phoned him on the after hours phone 15 minutes before they were open. Not the way I expected to be addressed as a paying customer. He is South African, so it figures...nasty man,. .

“Awesome unit, new tidy and spacious”
A very new stand alone unit. Quite nice and aside from carting bags up to the entrance very well set up. Enjoyed the feeding the eels and the rural creek setting that boundaries the unit.

The holiday park is obviously frequently used as a last stay before heading to the Picton-Wellington ferry. Therefore, people, cars, and campers leave the place in large numbers quite ealry in the morning to catch the early-bird-ferries, which leads to significant noise well before 6 am. Additionally, the nearby street is used by a large number of trucks in the morning. Of course, the owners can't do anything about that, but you should be aware of this fact.
