The host, Antoine, was super friendly and explained the area, welcome us warmly and have us recommendations on what to do, restaurants and the history of the place. The breakfast was very good too!

“Nice old mill house quiet and quiant”

It was our second stay at Antoine's beautiful old mill house. The location is perfect, close to the Calais ferry port, in the middle of countryside. There is a garden and a nice terrace where we had our breakfast. The rooms and the bathroom were very clean, there is own fridge and tea-making facilities. The owner is friendly; he has recommended us a nice restaurant for dinner, Le Bierpot, which was literally 2 minutes drive from the house.

“Very romantic stay.”

The apartment is very romantic, a part of an ancient mill. There are good walks nearby and the adjacent garden is great. The property was clean and comfortable, and we had a good sleep listening to the water flowing by. The owner appeared helpful and friendly and the breakfast was served in a pretty dining room. We brought our dog with us but had no problems with the owners dogs whatsoever as they had been safely separated and didn't even bark. We would definitely like to come back, perhaps for a longer time.

Beautiful breakfast - served in pretty garden near water wheel. Host was kind and generous with his time. Quiet family space. Proximity to Calais (40 mins). Pretty town 10 mins drive away.

Beautiful setting, the owners were very welcoming giving us a tour of their Estate and explaining the history of the property. They were eager to please us giving us a comprehensive guide to the local area and attractions. We were up early to attend the Lille Brocante however they appeared at our door with a lovely tray full of breads and home made jams etc. The waterwheel is a lovely feature and you can have your breakfast outside should you wish in this lovely setting. Charming accommodation and Charming hosts.

The welcome was warm and genuine. Antoine and family could not have been more helpful. It was like being a house guest. The rooms are comfortable, in a traditional French family style.
