Quiet location, kind and helpful host.

The accommodation would have been perfectly good were it not for the dry toilet where the toilet should have been. This device has no sewer pipe connection and no water supply and uses wood shavings to cover the human waste products, which remain in the toilet basin itself. While this is doubtless very eco friendly, it is more than a little unpleasant for guests, particularly as the room in which this device is placed has no extractor fan. Particularly annoying, not to say non-compliant with consumer law, is that while the booking.com description expressly mentions the toilet in the room, it neglects to mention that it is a dry toilet or give any other indication of this non-standard feature. I am delighted that the host is environment-friendly, and that is her right, but I don't think her ideology should be imposed on unsuspecting paying guests without prior warning.

Host was amazing, nothing too much trouble. Location a little isolated but very eco friendly.

“Pretty setting & clean accommodation”

This was a lovely self contained room with dry toilet (which the kids found a treat to use) and nice shower room with a lovely hot shower. Comfy beds. The gardens, pond and bats/balls/badminton was a nice surprise and there were sheep& chickens to see. Breakfast was served via an entrance to the back of the main house, very nice. The host was very lovely and helpful. Lovely accommodation in a pretty setting.

A guesthouse with a few rooms. I stayed in the garden cabin, which is a standalone building. Breakfast and game area is in the main building right next door. There are limited options in the region but this is a good choice. Real efforts to be sustainable including eco toilet.

We arrived early and were welcomed with no problems at all. We even were able to have an early breakfast before we left on Sunday morning. Beautiful home in an idyllic setting with a superb host.

Very rural setting with lovely views. All very well maintained and friendly. Owner booked our restaurant as my french not great, yet. All round lovely place to stay.

A very interesting place, a new experience with Ecology. I'm actually wondering whether a biological sewage treatment plant in the garden would be better, where everything could be used and it would be much simpler. But these are just my thoughts :). Thank you very much for the nice welcome and really wonderful breakfasts :) :) :)
