Overview
This hotel is on a south-facing slope above Blankenburg, offering lovely views of the town and Schloss Blankenburg castle. Wi-Fi via hotspot and parking are included in the room price. The privately run Hotel Viktoria Luise is a restored Art Nouveau house. It has spacious, non-smoking rooms and suites which are individually decorated with rich colours and select furniture. In the afternoon, cakes are served in the Viktoria Luise's restaurant with terrace. In the evening, the menu at the à la carte restaurant features a range of regional dishes which change seasonally. The Viktoria Luise has a small sauna which can be used for an additional charge. Blankenburg's town centre is just a 10-minute walk from the hotel.

Hotel staff is so friendly and forgiving our lack of deutch language. Our deluxe room (nro 3) was beautiful and very comfortable with a view like a painting. Breakfast was served in tables and had everything you could hope for. The location in Blankenburg is not so special since the town lacks the personality of nearby Quedlingburg and Wegergerode. But then again by car only 15 minutes drive to them. All on all, nice experience.

“Lovely 3 night stay, great breakfast served at your table to order.”
Lots of character, lovely views of schloss, the staff very friendly and helpful. Ate once very good food reasonably priced. Good central location for Hartz attractions and towns. Breakfast very good, plates of meat and cheeses, yogurt and fresh fruit, eggs cooked to order, gorgeous warm rolls all served, good coffee!

The owner, staff and Ginger are very nice and friendly. Location is great. Parking is good. Terrace is brilliant in the summer. Dinner is good when available (Sun and Mon are rest days for restaurant)
