We had a wonderful stay in this private cottage, which truly felt like a warm home for our four days there. The exceptionally high standards made everything comfortable and relaxing. Everything was thoughtfully arranged — from the organic food and beverages sourced from the best local producers to the comfortable bed with luxurious bedding — and we especially appreciated the sense of privacy. The unique location of the house, set on a large plot with breathtaking panoramic views, made the experience truly unforgettable.  Most importantly, the hosts were absolutely lovely and incredibly helpful. Thank you so much, Daryl and Richard — you gave us one of the most memorable moments of our travels.

Everything was 10/10

We've booked the studio at Mount Booralee (unfortunately) just for three nights. Our stay was just perfect! The studio itself is not that big but it has got everything you need and is super comfortable and cosy. You can cook easy meals in the small, well equipped kitchen. The views from the terrace were amazing and we enjoyed eating breakfast and dinner outside and we're even able to spot a few kangaroos right in front of the studio! But what makes the Studio so special are the owners - Daryl and Richard with their two dogs. They welcomed us so warmly despite our late arrival time and showed us everything. They equipped the fridge and cupboards with so much food and drinks: stuff for breakfast including fresh bread, eggs and juices - snacks like bars, chips and chocolate - and even wine and beer. We didn't expect that! The other day we were able to get to know them closer and they are just warm-hearted and caring people! So thanks again a lot for our wonderful stay! We can truly recommend the Studio to everyone!

Not only were the location and views truly 5-star, the property itself was both beautiful and incredibly comfortable. The attention to detail was astonishing - every aspect has been thoughtfully designed to make guests feel at home. The owners have truly thought of everything and we will definitely be returning. Although breakfast was not advertised, the kitchenette was thoughtfully stocked with a generous selection of breakfast items.

The property was simply stunning. The location, the amenities and I can’t overstate how incredible the view was! Every element was so special and made our weekend away magical, especially since it was to celebrate my 30th, it was truly one of the best properties I’ve ever stayed at.

WOW, we're  do I start ! The attention to detail is amazing. How stunning is the Mount Booralee Studio. From the time you arrive you are greeted with a warm welcome by Daryl. The accommodation is perfect stocked with everything you need and more, Daryl and Richard have not forgotten anything. A stocked up fridge, special treats throughout the studio, and even a "pooch pack" for our travelling four-legged friends,  who were welcomed with open arms. We were so grateful  to be able to bring along our two fur kids. They especially loved the large space to run around after their long journey from WA . Then there are amazing views  over the mountains with the wildlife at your doorstep. We found it conveniently close to some stunning hikes, Anvil rock lookout, and Blackheath town centre. Our only complaint was that 2 nights was not long enough to experience this beautiful area. We can so recommend spoiling yourself and staying at Mount Booalee studio, thankyou Daryl, Richard Temba & and Duke, for sharing your beautiful property and stunning backyard. The studio at Mount Booralee was pristine. The setting was idyllic, grounds maintained beautifully, and facilities second to none. The views here are spectacular and you’d never tire of sitting on the balcony and admiring the scenery. Daryl, Richard and and their 2 friendly dogs welcomed us and our little cocker spaniel warmly. The studio had everything you could possibly need and more. The fridge was stocked with breakfast provisions, fresh bread, milk, fruit juice etc. Even a blanket, towels and biscuits for our doggo companion! Seriously, these guys have thought of everything you’d ever need for a comfortable stay.

From arriving at this location to leaving, every detail was thought of by the host. As for myself who works in hospitality they showcased what good hospitality means from a very clean and tidy area to complimentary items in the fridge/pantry the service when we choose an add on to the experience of an afternoon fire and homemade pizza while looking over an amazing view I couldn't believe when I arrived back to the cottage, the stunning layout they went to for an afternoon fire and pizza with blankets, cutlery, offering wine and a warm fire ready. Not a single detail was missed during our stay and it completely exceeded any stay I've had anywhere. A little cottage fitted with only good quality materials that sits on a very well manicured property with a view you cannot beat, if you are second guessing to stay, I wouldn't recommend missing this opportunity for a good quality blue mountains experience. Thank you very much.

“One of the best stays”

This was by far the best privately hosted accommodation we've stayed in. My husband and myself decided to spend our wedding anniversary here. From the moment we arrived, the hosts, Daryl and Richard welcomed us with lots of warmth, and we got to meet their 2 lovely dogs as well. The studio was beyond our expectations - lots of attention to detail to every element in it. The main room was very cozy, despite being very cold outside, we always felt warm in the studio. The kitchen was fantastic and equipped with lots of treats, breakfast food, fruits and many more, at no cost. The view was incredible, with the studio perfectly north facing, we could see the sunrise and a bit of the sunset as well. Also lots of cute little birds visiting the property :) We also enjoyed all our chats with the hosts, they have been wonderful throughout our stay and we hope to keep in touch. Will definitely return in the future.

“Absolute perfection!”

Mount Booralee far exceeded our expectations! As soon as we checked-in we wanted to extend our stay. The hosts were wonderful and have done a fantastic job with the accomodation and grounds. Although the weather was poor during our stay, the beauty of the estate outshone the cloudy weather and we loved exploring. The studio is extremely well appointed. It felt luxurious but also comfortable as if it were our own home.

Thank you for the extras you provided us, eg, stocking the fridge. Also, for the lovely gesture for my partner's birthday. We have made friends and will not forget our stay at Mount booralee.

“Fabulous!”

Booralee is a magnificent property and the hosts - Darryl and Richard are divine. Our stay was incredibly comfortable and our hosts could not have done more for us. The property is the essence of the Blue Mountains. A beautiful heritage property with incredible landscaped gardens and a scenic vista. The cabin is cosy, comfortable and has everything you could want. The provisions and inclusions were the best we have ever seen. Incredibly generous and plentiful. We cannot wait to visit again in Spring. For garden lovers, this property is a must see. For those who enjoy the finer things in life, this property is a must stay. “Luxurious experience with genuine hopsitality in a postcard setting”

Stayed here for three nights for a pre-xmas getaway/relaxation, and everything was incredible. The property itself is beautiful, you feel like you have your own private gardens and wow what a view over the mountains. The cottage was similarly exceptional - very comfortable and appointed with so many thoughtful touches (including THE most generous provisions in terms of breakfast/snacks), we were honestly left wanting for nothing. And finally, Daryl and Richard were such warm and generous hosts, and we loved our visits from Temba and Duke. Can't rate this place highly enough, it was truly soothing for the soul <3

“An outstanding find - we're returning soon!”

This wonderful accommodation is a studio, totally separate from the main house, on a large, beautifully maintained estate with exceptional views of the surroundings. The property is on the outskirts of town and blissfully quiet. It is however only 5 minutes drive into Blackheath which has lovely food options and is also only a short drive away from Katoomba and Leura. What makes this studio exceptional is the thoughtfulness, attention to detail and care taken in the design and furnishing of the studio to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Everything was spotless - and we are fussy! The kitchen items were in great condition, and the provisions in the fridge and in cupboards were both quality and very generous. Complementary little treats including chocolates, nuts and Pringles were another thoughtful, special touch. Our hosts Daryl and Richard were thoroughly delightful, engaging, friendly and informative, and we had a few lovely chats. They were there if you needed anything but you had your privacy as well. Their two Vizsla dogs were also very sweet, friendly and well behaved. This residence was a fantastic find, and we have already booked our return! Thank you very much Daryl and Richard, we are very much looking forward to staying with you again.
