Overview
The newly remodelled Kyah is a renovated motel, set on two acres of beautifully landscaped gardens in a quiet backstreet in the Blue Mountains' bohemian Blackheath. Kyah features Blaq Restaurant, wrapped around a famous Japanese cherry blossom tree (rumour has it it’s the oldest one in the Southern Hemisphere) and showcases the finest produce local to the region. Kyah has a tennis court, corporate boardrooms, an outdoor hot tub, an on-site sauna and other amenities available on-site. Each newly renovated room is fitted with air-conditioning, a flat-screen TV, an electric kettle and a private bathroom with a hairdryer. The minibar includes locally produced snacks and drinks. For your enjoyment, there is free Wi-Fi, funky break-out areas and a 24 hour tea station with food and beverage amenities. Kyah is situated across from the Blackheath Golf Club and a 10-minute drive from Katoomba. It is 1.4 km from Blackheath’s town centre and 12 km from the renowned Three Sisters. Central Sydney is a 90-minute drive away.

A loved all the different areas that if you came with a group you could spend time. Lots of varied seating, basketball / tennis / pickleball courts Hot tub. Arcade games room was also a winner for my teenage son. Our room was great, we lived the amenities, the tea room, the pantry pip up downstairs for coffee and toasties. They also gave us a late checkout to be on request.

the Service is so attentive friendly and kind, we seemed to have a lot of requests on this stay including changing rooms, and nothing was to much trouble, we have stayed here a year ago and it seems to have got into a good groove now. Highly recommend for an affordable comfortable stay

*There was a bandaid in the shower when we arrived. *Our friends said their toilet in the room next door hadn't been flushed. *The two king rooms we booked each had one comfy chair. Two chairs for two people would have been better. *We couldnt see where breakfast was available. Apparently every day but didn't appear to be in the restaurant. *We booked the hot tub but other people came during our time. There was no signage to advise of booking. *There were no teabags in our room.
