Overview
These basic cottages are 35 minutes’ drive from Stavanger and 10 km from the village of Tau. Each offers free Wi-Fi, a kitchenette and private bathroom. On-site laundry facilities are available. Cooking hobs, a microwave and coffee machine are found in all the 2-bedroom cottages at Wathne Camping. Each has a seating area and dining table. Communal facilities include a children’s playground, garden terrace and BBQ equipment. Preikestolen cliff rock is 35 km away, while sightseeing along the Lysefjord is 45 km from the property. Fishing, canoeing and hiking are other common area activities.

It was the second place where we stayed during our trip, and it was a great experience because the location was amazing. The cabin was quite spacious and had a really good vibe. I really liked it. We used the kitchen, toilet, laundry facilities, and shower, and everything was comfortable and pleasant. This place made a very good impression on us, so I highly recommend it👌

Got a free upgrade to a cabin with all facilities, so I’m more than happy with my stay. Another plus is the views - beautiful.

“A great place immersed in the Norwegian nature”
Amazing camping at the beginning of the Tysdalsvatnet. Completely immersed in the Norwegian nature with a great sense of community / trust and many activities to do like canoeing or sauna, really close to the beach where you can dive in both river and lake. Also the major attractions and towns are fairly close. For example it's really easy to get to the Pulpit Rock or Stravanger by car from there. Our stuga or summerhouse was clean and furnished with all the basic stuff to live there.
