We had a wonderful stay. The location offers stunning mountain views and is an excellent base for hiking and exploring the nearby Bosnian villages. The kitchen was fully equipped, and we especially enjoyed the barbecue on the terrace. The host was very friendly and responsive, and the key handover was easy to arrange. Highly recommended!

Modern house, comfortable, spacious. Great views and fireplace, well equipped kitchen. Good location in the Bjelasnica mountains: quiet and remote, and close to many nice hiking trails. Host is friendly and welcoming and can give you recommendations on places to go (speaks good English). I would definitely recommend it to people who want to spend some time in a quiet/remote place in the nature and/or explore the Bjelasnica area. Note that this place is relatively remote: there are some nice restaurants within 10-15 mins of driving, but bigger grocery shopping is better be done in Sarajevo.

The location, the property, the atmosphere.

Beautiful location in the wonderful nature of the Bjelasnica mountain. The house is well equipped for a comfortable stay, in our case for 6 adults and 5 children. Large windows in the living room provide a wonderful view. Considering that it rained for a whole day, a special plus is the separate spacious area on the ground floor suitable for children to play and hang out. The host is kind and gave us all the necessary information. Communication is timely and easy. ​

“Traditional Bosnian home & breathtaking views”

This house is beautiful, warm, and cozy all around. It was easy to find with Google Maps, and the wifi quality is excellent. The kids enjoyed the snow and the ping pong table downstairs. My personal favorite is the scenery - it's just breathtaking. A couple of days here are a great reset. Would definitely recommend.

“Very nice and comfortable house at a splendid location”

The house is very comfortable, with separate bedrooms and a big living room, it can easily host 10 persons. We visited it during the summer and enjoyed very much the superb position at an altitude of 1370 m, with a loads of fresh air, middle in the untouched nature. It has a nice terrace with incredible mountain views (not one, but at least three different mountains can be seen). The garden/backyard is spacious with a sitting area equipped with chairs and deck chairs, bbq, nice sunny terrace and a refreshing tree shade. The kitchen is wel equipped for cooking, dining and coffee drinking. :) There is a table top tennis in separate room, that our kids enjoyed very much. There are different hikes to be done in the surrounding. The mountain Bjelašnica top can be reached by hiking in about 2,5 h. Village Umoljani in about 1 h and village Lukomir in about 2,5-3 h by walking and both can also be visited by driving. There is a great historical spot with medieval tombstones laying around on a grass field on a hill not too far away from the house. The host is very friendly and helpful. The communication was very easy, fast and good. We found a name Utopia very well chosen. :)
