Dar El Kasba Bizerte is located in Bizerte, 37 km from Ichkeul Lake & Park, and has a shared lounge. It is set 200 metres from Bizerte Beach and provides full-day security. Very beautiful dar inside kasbah, staying in an historic family home. Very helpful, warm host, nice breakfast, would have liked to stay longer! Not easy to find (would not recommend Google maps), but the host was very responsive and helpful, guiding us there by whatsapp and videos. Wonderful!

This is a really special place, not only in the heart of the Medina, its host are really nice people. I didn't feel like only sleeping there, I was welcomed to the whole family. The room was really nice and beautifully decorated in typical tunisian style. The surrounding is nice, clean, silent and it makes fun discovering whats behind the next corner. They have a generous and beautiful terrace ontop for warm nights to enjoy the mediteranean feeling.The owners speak multiple languages like arabic, french and english which makes communication a breeze and try to make every wish come true. I can only recommend to try it out and be surprised! I would advise to follow the way described in the pictures or it could get tricky to find it by night, Google Maps is not very helpful in Medinas at all...

“Excellent for short stay , Will stay there again only if price was reasonable”
I stayed one night at the hotel, it was comfortable . but cost was very expensive . I believe that was due to high season but still expensive for provided facilities

Situated in an old typical building, Dar el Kasba gives one an idea about life of real people in the medina, with all its smells and sounds - which I found quite pleasant. While it is not very easy to spot the house at the arrival, once you get used to the narrow alleys in the Old City all becomes simple and even interesting. My room and bathroom were extremely clean, and all facilities functioned perfectly. The breakfast was not very immaginative, but sufficient and tasty. The hosts were extremely nice and helpful.

It was such a lovely experience living with a family. REGNA our host was always available to answer all my many questions . My room was comfortable and quiet and dark at night. Important requirements when travelling and rarely available. The Dar is situated in a delightful part of the medina and at the end of several days you feel a part of this friendly community. Especially going to the Hamman . The Dar is extremely well situated being only minutes from all the major sights . The Old Port The beach Town centre. Restaurants cafe etc
