“Absolultely magical.”
We only had one night at Le Colline del Paradiso but it left a real impression. It's tucked away in the Mugello hills about twenty minutes from Florence, and the moment you arrive you feel a million miles from the city. The room was lovely, beautifully renovated with proper attention to detail, really comfortable bed, lovely bathroom. The whole place has that balance of old Tuscan character with modern comfort. The on-site restaurant La Fornace de' Medici was excellent too, saved us the trouble of going anywhere and honestly we wouldn't have wanted to. We visited when it was still cold so the pool and gardens weren't in full swing, but waking up to see a light dusting of snow on the mountains across the valley was genuinely one of those pinch-yourself moments. Stood at the window with a coffee just staring. It must be incredible in summer but there's something really special about this place in the quiet season too. The staff were lovely, really warm and attentive without being overbearing. One night was nowhere near enough.

“Beautiful hotel in heart of Tuscany”
Hotel is situated in the beautiful hills of Tuscany. The vineyard running along the hillsides made a beautiful backdrop and setting for this hotel. The hotel suite we stayed in was extremely spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. I was really impressed with it. Staff at the hotel were very helpful and polite.

Beautiful and charming typical tuscan property, in a quiet location in the hills just a half hour north of Florence. Two large outside pools. Our suite was beautiful, huge, clean, the bed was big and comfortable, the bathroom had a fantastic shower, towels were good and plenty. Great place to relax.

My partner and I stayed here over the MotoGP weekend, and we were genuinely blown away by how beautiful this hotel is. The views are absolutely stunning — a real picture-perfect setting — and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly throughout our stay. One thing we learned the hard way: definitely hire a car if you’re planning on exploring the area. Unfortunately, we didn’t, and there were no taxis available at all, which made getting around tricky. But if you’re planning to stay put and soak up the surroundings, you’re in for a treat. The on-site restaurant was lovely — especially in the evenings — with a great atmosphere and delicious food. That said, the lunch menu could do with a few more options, just to mix things up a bit. Our room was gorgeous — spacious, comfortable, and with perfect air conditioning, which was a godsend after a hot day in the sun. The pool was spotless and really peaceful, with breathtaking views that made it feel like a proper escape. All in all, a beautiful hotel in an incredible location. Just don’t forget the hire car!
