Breakfast was really good, air conditioning working perfectly, really nice and clean pool, nice staff, I really enjoy the service in the restaurant, good pressure in the shower as well.

“Forced to stay there longer than I was willing to”

The hotel is poorly managed o had the misfortune to arrive at the moment of a coup d’état and had to stay here longer , the management closed restaurants and didn’t inform the clients that they could eat at the buffet so some of the guests didn’t eat the whole day abs could got out in the streets fit safety reason Although there was personal in restaurants and bars serving lot of alcohol to clients they refused to even provide a scoop of ice cream on the excuse the kitchen was closed after 3 pm . There was a buffet I had to pay to 22500 CFE around 34 euros for mediocre food so much more than the normal menu . It is a sad way to make money on the back of the people stuck in the country and in the hotel because of a coup d’état and the shutdown of borders.

Location, convenience, the guy we met at the reception when I arrived and the one on the day I was leaving were good and professional. There was a particular guy in charge of the restaurant during dinner was exceptionally good and friendly.

I cannot recommend this hotel enough! The manager, Cesar, was beyond helpful, going out of his way on multiple occasions to help us or make our lives easier there. A really nice guy who spoke many languages and helped translate. He always made you feel like you were his priority. Saying that, all the staff were lovely and always helpful. The breakfast is amazing - a spread of cooked options, pastries, cereals, juices, freshly made to order crepes, cakes, breads and spreads, fruit… and the list really does go on. The hotel was spotlessly clean in every room. The pool and outside area is beautiful and you can get drinks and food ordered to your sun lounger. We enjoyed our time spent at this hotel a lot. “Perfect stay at the Ceiba hotel!”

Perfect stay at the Ceiba hotel! The hotel was clean, modern with a moderately sized room and good sized bathroom. The room had Ac, TV, iron and a fridge. The hotel had a nice gym with a good selection of machines and weights in a modern building overlooking the pool which also had AC. The pool area was very nice and modern complimented by palms trees to give it a tropical, beach feel. The restaurant food and service was amazing, all the food was very high quality fresh and cooked to perfection. Also the service was very efficient. The hotel has underground parking which is easily accessible via the lifts. The staff at the hotel very helpful although English speakers may struggle if you don’t have a second language. The staff mostly Portuguese or French but having Spanish or Italian will be sufficient to get by.

“Fantastic hotel and wonderful staff”

The staff were fantastic, especially the general manager who took time to make sure we got a taxi despite the president of Sudan arriving at the hotel and the roads all closed by the police & military. The pool area is beautifully designed. Great hotel!

“Great hotel, would not recommend anything else in Bissau!”

Hotel is really nice and well organized. The hotel has a new manager who clearly really cares about his employees/customers. From what I've seen, this is the best hotel you can find in Guinea-Bissau. The manager and staff organized a tour guide that also works at the hotel. Alfa spoke perfect English and also went above and beyond and helped me out to reach my next destination! (Thanks Alfa!)

The location and premises found to meet my expectations. Friendly staff are happy to assist you when needed. However, one minor thing that very few people do speak English. I would expect as international hotel more people would be speaking English.
