This hotel and café was set up in 2015 on a historical site in the heart of Bispingen . Schmucke Witwe combines a modern and traditional style. Each of the 8 comfortable double rooms has its own strong character, featuring harmonious colours, noble design and expressive style elements. All rooms include a Smart TV, free WiFi and box-spring beds. Each room also cites a poem by Herman Löns, and shows motifs from the Lüneburg Heath, placing you in touch with your surroundings. Guests at the Schmucke Witwe can enjoy a hearty breakfast before going for a long hiking, cycling or horse riding tour. Bispingen's main attractions such as the Snow Dome, the indoor/outdoor carting track and the Aqua Mundo bath in Center Parcs are all around 2.5 km away, and there is a shuttle bus that stops directly outside the hotel. Homemade or small savoury snacks are served in the café in the afternoon. There are many nice restaurants for dinner nearby. Guests can also round off a visit to the Schmucke Witwe by visiting the on-site gift shop, and are welcome to ask the friendly hosts why the hotel/café is called Schmucke Witwe.
