A wonderful place with soul. Upon arrival, we were treated to local specialties and homemade food, and in the morning, a delicious breakfast. The host is incredibly friendly; here, you truly feel at home in the heart of Maramureş like a guest, not just a tourist.

The environment, people included. There is a great Maramures door, and the rooms are all different. I didn't give the greatest rate for the room, because the room I wanted was already given. But if you want to feel the Romanian soul, this is the place to come. And 10 minutes driving from Barsana doesn't count much as you don't have to look for a restaurant as everything is available indoors. This is the place to stay longer and pay visits from here.

“Super friendly, great location”
The friendliness and helpfulness of the family was overwhelming and much appreciated when travelling with kids. The recommendations for visiting the surrounding areas and then route suggestions for onwards journey were super useful. It was lovely to hear about Romanian culture and some history as well. Do go for the breakfast and dinner options, huge portions and delicious!

Very traditional with bio homemade food. Host was great and our 3 year old daughter had place to run and play. Our 2 day stay was great comfy and they helped us with places to visit around

“Fantastic experience”
A true Maramuresean experience. The owners made us feel at home from the first moment. The place is beautiful and it is perfectly functional for a comfortable stay. Warmly recommended!
