“Quiet and pleasant, well equipped.”

The room was exactly as described, with very modern fittings. Everything worked. The staff at the hotel were extremely courteous, especially the cleaning staff. The rooftop terrace was a beautiful place to watch the sun rise each morning. The location is far from most points of interest, but in a quiet neighbourhood and very close to major public transport routes.

The breakfast was good. There is a variety of foods: sweets (croissants, cookies...), cold meat (ham, salami), coffee. Also, they prepare tasty fried eggs, omelettes on request.

Nice hotel, helpful staff. Grocery store and bus stops are close. They clean almost every day. The refrigerator is useful.

“Perfect retreat stay in Malta”

The place is located in a very quiet and peaceful surroundings next to a church. The room was really clean and I had everything I needed. The staffs were amazing both at the reception and at the breakfast hall. They were the kindest!

The hospitality of the whole team at the Rivotorto retreat house was simply excellent. My room was cleaned spotlessly. It had all what you require for a relaxed vacation, with a comfy bed and good air conditioning.The buffet breakfast was also very well appreciated, and the staff make sure you are well catered for, inclusive of a free bottle of water in your room. I would like to thank all of the team at Rivotorto for a memorable stay in Malta. In addition, the retreat house is located in a lovely village surrounded by restaurants, shops, and very good transport links to all parts of Malta.

“Budget friendly stay in convenient location!”

Very comfortable stay, would recommend for the price. Although you aren’t in a main area, it is in a very convenient area to get the bus around Malta. 5min walk to bus stop that has connections to Valletta, St Paul’s Bay, Golden Bay and Mdina. Pastizzeria and convenience store close by.

"My stay at Rivotorto Retreat House was simply fantastic. I was there from August 2nd to 4th and felt at home from the very first moment. The property is impeccable, elegant, and the atmosphere is truly relaxing. Although I didn't have the chance to enjoy the breakfast, I appreciated that it was included and all the other services offered. The staff is exceptional, always smiling and ready to help. A true gem in Birkirkara that I highly recommend!"

Perfect start to explore Malta after late landing. Good communication, easy late check in! Perfect location for trips.Three cities, Valetta or Sliema is on walking distance. (well 6-7 km) The hotel is amazing. Spotless clean, the stuff is helpful. Highly recommended for that money. Good breakfast!

“Great accomidation for the price”

Really good value for the money. Obviously for that good price dont expect any luxury but a perfectly well functioning, clean room with the basics, nice staff and a decent breakfast. Downtown Valetta is just about 20min with bus. Couldnt ask more for that price. .
