Located in Biri on the shores of Lake Mjøsa, Honne Hotell and Konferansesenter has a dining hall overlooking the lake. The hotel is 20 km north of Gjøvik, surrounded by hiking routes, and even has a path down to Kremmerodden Bay for bathing in the summer. Bedrooms are simply furnished with a TV and private bathroom, and some have access to the building’s free Wi-Fi. Honne Hotell also offers a TV lounge and a living room with a fireplace. Breakfast is served daily, and in the evenings, a traditional Norwegian dinner buffet is prepared. Guests can relax in the hotel bar or take a walk in the hotel gardens, which include an arboretum of more than 100 tree species. Lillehammer lies 25 km north of the Honne Hotell, and Moelv is 10 minutes’ drive away across the Mjøsbru bridge.

“Excellent hospitality”
We checked in late and restaurant was already closed but the lady in the reception went extra mile by preparing a sandwich. Everything were great during our stay; location, cleanliness, and costumer service.Thank you, this is how hospitality should be.

I liked the beds, they were really comfortable. Internet was great, much better than most of hotels I have seen. The location is perfect, with the view on the mountains and the lake.

“Decent Hotel”
Breakfast was buffet and offered the basics like cereal, yoghurt, decent coffee, boiled eggs, bread, jam. Lovely view of the garden . Lovely views from the restaurant windows/terrace. Haakon at the bar was great.
