Outstanding location in the middle of old Birgu, close to restaurants and also a short boat ride to Valletta, making it quite central for our explorations. We also really enjoyed the terrace.

Location was great! WiFi worked perfectly, spacious and lovely decorated. Easy check in, parking instructions on point. Great waterpressure in shower, plenty of pillows and towels and toilet paper. Roofterrace was amazing. Had a great stay! If you are sensitive to noise from outside (it's in a city, there will be noise) bring earplugs.

Location was great, such a picturesque street right off the Piazza and only a short walk from the Marina.

A fantastic studio apartment in Birgu! Extremely cozy, tastefully decorated, full of retro charm, comfortable and clean — a perfect place for a wonderful stay. The bed is comfortable, the shower pressure is excellent, and the A/C heating is ideal for cooler December nights. There is a balcony and a stunning private terrace with a direct view of the bell tower and the old rooftops of Birgu. The host is helpful and responds instantly. It was a truly memorable stay. For the first time in my life, I traveled alone and felt completely at home. I hope to return someday. This was my cozy little corner in Malta.

Fantastic location, and decor was lovely, a great mix of old and new. Clear information about checking in and advice about parking. Host very responsive. Roof terrace was great for breakfast and evening drinks. Everything you would need provided.

Perfect location - Birgu is such a wonderful location and feels a bit off the tourist track. The apartment is fabulous, very well appointed, and the private rooftop terrace is wonderful. We spent several of our evenings hanging out on the terrace watching the sunset.

“Exceeded Expectations”

We chose this apartment because of the terrace. It didn't disappoint - because the property is on a ridge, there are great views in most directions, and we enjoyed sunny breakfasts, coffee, and watching the swifts fly as evening skies gradually darkened. If there are fireworks anywhere, it's also a pretty good vantage point to see them - likewise it's a good place to stickybeak all the vehicle and pedestrians activity on the narrow street outside. What we were surprised by was how well the rest of the apartment had been thought through for what visitors would need, and how efficiently it was designed (from the perspective of optimising space). It was hard to think of anything that the place lacked, and it's far better value, and more enjoyable, than staying in Valletta itself. It's a 2 minute walk to the main square, with pavement bars, and places to eat, (though there are places even closer), and a 5 minute walk downhill to the scheduled harbour ferry or water taxis. The host Andrew provided a lot of information prior to arrival, including good instructions on how to access the apartment, and plenty of recommendations for things to do, and see, and where to eat and drink on the island. If we came back to Malta, we wouldn't hesitate to stay here.

Central location in the heart of Bergu. Close to the main square and ferry to valleta. Lovely roof top terrace for your sole use .
