Great hosts and great location in the 3 Cities. The room is in an old and traditional house with a casement window and beautiful Maltese tiles.It was spotlssly clean and very comfortable. Lovely touches with the towels folded into swans, and a lovely ice cold bottle of water in the fridge.There are plenty of restaurants cares/bars close by. It is an easy walk to the marina and waterfront. Highly recommend.

I had a wonderful stay in these apartments in the historic heart of Birgu, Malta. The location is truly exceptional — just steps away from the Inquisitor’s Palace and the beautiful Church of St. Lawrence. As a solo traveler, I felt very comfortable and safe here. It is also very easy to get to Valletta, which was a big advantage for me. The apartment was very clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything needed for a pleasant stay. It perfectly combines modern amenities with the charm of a historic setting. The host was friendly and responsive, ensuring a smooth check-in and always ready to help with any questions. I really enjoyed the unique character of Birgu — quiet, authentic, and full of history. Staying here made my trip to Malta even more special. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a cozy and well-located place to stay!

Best location in beautiful Birgu. Next to church bell (dinging from morning) but as you accept it as an interesting adventure, why not, it is the city full of churches. Very good communication with the owners. Nice historical building.

Fantastic studio. Everything you need. Very clean. Great location in the heart of Birgu. Right across from a Church - the bell is very loud, but we loved it. Plenty of bars, cafes and restaurants. Lovely wee 5min boat journey over to Valletta. We'll definitely be back.

The Apartment-hotel has 4 rooms over 3 floors. They offer daily maid service and trash pickup. The entire building smelled fresh and clean, there are stairs, and the best part there is a small elevator for suitcases and heavy groceries… for e ample a 6 pack of 2 liter water bottles. The kitchenette has the necessities, small fridge with a nice sized freezer. The building is right across from a cathedral (under 80 meter) so expect the church bells to ring at 0800, great alarm! And less that 3 mins walking distance to 3 bus stops that get you everywhere and 5-8 min walking distance to water taxis and ferry to Valletta. I loved the area, great restaurants and it was a quiet area, mostly residents and tourists coming to see the Inquisitor’s palace and the fort.

“Absolutely delightful place to stay at an awesome island.”

The place was absolutely amazing. The first nice thing was a digital lock with a code, both at the main gate (I will see myself out ;) and at the room itself. The entrance looks amazing, the building is old and beautiful. Stairs are bit narrow, but there is a luggage lift available. Room itself is great, a full self contained unit, with a massive bed, bathroom section with a shower and a toilet, induction hob (with set of pots and pans) and a fridge. A bottle of mineral water was left in there as welcome gift - a nice touch as the tap water at Malta has a specific taste. There is also a lovely enclosed balcony, great to eat your freshly cooked breakfast. Bed was very comfortable, with an abundance of pillows. The basic room service is included, which means your bed will be made for you. Very kind and professional lady will do it and bring you fresh set of towels and take old ones away. Whether you need it or not you will also get a new roll of loo roll ;) Small touches like the light switch for the main lights available from the bed and the iron, ironing board an a bottle of deionised water were icing on the cake. Location was great for my needs. There is a shop literally next door. A couple of bus stops are very nearby, one on the square and one with more options further south. Still, if you need to get to Valletta, my favourite option was a ferry. It takes less than 10 min to get there from the flat and the boat takes about 7-8 minutes to cross the Harbour. Host was great and responsive over the email. I will definitely book again next year !

Centrality and clean

I loved the location in Birgu, which is very picturesque and sits right opposite a church. The chiming church bells added that extra layer of charm on an already charming building and experience. It was clean and spacious and had all I needed. I slept very well both nights of my stay in the very comfortable bed before hoping over to Gozo Island.

Great place to stay in Malta. Birgu is a beautiful town, calm, historical and with all you need. The ferry to Valletta is only 5 minutes walk. Apartment is convenient, nicely furnished and clean. Church outside was making perfect atmosphere with lights in the evening and sounds in the morning.

It’s a lovely room opposite a church with great views of a typical Birgu street….top floor in my case so there are three floors of winding stairs …kept very clean
