“Big room.”
The room we had was very large. It slept all 4 of us easily and my two children had their own bed. It was a quick walk from the town centre but a bit of a walk to the ferry to cross the river. Breakfast was good. Everything was clean.

The hotel does what it says on the town. Yes, it's a bit behind the times, and the staff are elderly but welcoming, and there are no shower curtains, but I enjoyed it for it's pre-war chsrm

“Return to Starkenburger Hof not as good as hoped.”
Stayed here many years ago. Very large room and bed with small seating area, adequate size bathroom. It's located 2 min walk from the bank of the river Rhine which has a lovely promenade. Easy access to the town, riverbank and train station. Parking available within 1 min stroll away and is only €4 per day. Breakfast is acceptable with a fair selection of choices.

Owner was very nice lady. Able to park motorbikes right outside hotel. Good basic breakfast, plenty of tea/coffee. Very large bedroom, dated but very clean. The jewish graveyard is only a short walk from hotel and well worth a visit .

I originally booked a small room with a single bad, but I was given a large room with a double bed. Very confortable. Unfortunately I had to leave Bingen one day earlier than planned, and I was asked to pay only for the days I was there: this is not always the case with online reservations, and I quite appreciated that. Services are somewhat minimal (in line with the price I paid) but breakfast was okay, and not just minimal.

Breakfast was one of the nicest part of the stay at the hotel. Fair choice of breakfast options and helpful staff. I really liked the view on the nearby mountain, river and trains passing just by the window.

“Gezellig maar sober”
A charming old hotel with a rich history. Staff seems to have a hard job managing it, but they did their utmost. Breakfast was okay.
