“One of the greatest accomodations I have so far been staying in.”
The accomodation was plainly one of the very best I have ever stayed in. I am traveling a lot and usually book houses/flats, around 20-30 each year, so I get to see a lot. We were a group of six, visiting a conference in Maastricht, and it was very easy to get there from the accomodation (took around 20 min). The house was very clean. One of the best things - most of the kitchen ware was spotless. This is something me and my colleagues loved, as we did not have to put the dishes in the dishwasher as the first thing after arrival - which is something that in many otherwise clean accomodations I usually do. The two bathrooms are spacious. One is attached to a bedroom, the other one is on the ground floor behind the kitchen. this means that for two of the bedrooms one has to climb the stairs to reach the bathroom, bu there is an additional toilet on the upper floor that can be reached from the hall, so for loosing some water in the night it is not necessary to go all the way down. There are no functional blinds on the outside, so the rooms heat up in summer (and we were there during a heat wave with 35 °C). However, the landlady put some small fans for us, which made us survive the nights. The darkening curtains work well. All bedrooms are spacious ad the beds were quite comfortable. Linen had to payed for extra, but the charge was acceptable. The outdoor area was very nice and the garden was great for cooling a bit down in the evening. Several windows had moskito nets, so one could have them open in the evening. The landlady was very friendly and showed us around.
