“Cozy and nice, great for kids”

When we arrived, we received warm welcome by owner Lars. He showed us our apartment, and all other facilities around his farm. Kids could use all space around, bicycles, cars, trampoline, climbing boat, play house. There is a big tent with enormous amound of Lego you can use for playing. Every evening Lars and his wife Annika make bonfire where you can bring your dinner and barbecue. They are keeping horses, and you can organise your time in riding horses or cuddle them if you like. Facilities are spacious, beds are good quality, and you have everything you need in apartment. Well equipped kitchen, tv, bathroom. There is much space outside for parking, and its included with apartment.

Lars welcomed us very warm and showed us around. He is easy going and it was nice that he invitednus to the campfire. The apartment was spacious and tidy. The facilities were good and there was parking.

A Little Slice of Paradise in the Danish Countryside Our stay at this beautiful farm in Billund was nothing short of magical. We rented a small house on the property, and from the moment we arrived, we felt completely at peace, a feeling we had been longing for after coming from a bustling city. The quiet, the fresh air, the open space, the flowers everywhere, it was exactly what we needed. The farm is lovely and very well maintained. Horses, chickens, and cats roam around, and there are opportunities to go horseback riding. The facilities are top-notch, and having our own kitchen was a huge plus. We were able to cook our own meals, and the nearby supermarket made everything convenient. Our little house was spotless, the beds incredibly comfortable, and everything felt thoughtfully prepared. But what truly made this stay unforgettable were the owners, Lars and his wonderful wife, Annika. From the very first moment, they made us feel like family. Their warmth, kindness, and generosity touched us deeply. They go out of their way every day to make sure guests feel welcome and comfortable. The connection we felt with them was immediate and genuine. One of the highlights of the stay was the communal fire pit area, which is sheltered so you can enjoy it even in the rain. There’s a table where you can bring your food or make a barbecue, and it’s the perfect place to meet other travelers from around the world. Lars and Annika are always there in the evenings, creating a cozy, inclusive atmosphere that brings everyone together. We are truly sad to be leaving. But we know one thing for certain: if we ever return to Denmark, this is where we’ll be staying again. This place didn’t just give us a peaceful holiday, it gave us beautiful memories and a feeling of home.

A big bonus for the place is the garden where the children can freely play and were allowed to eat strawberries from the garden.

We loved the place. It's very family friendly and the hosts are amazing. Perfect location for travellers with a car.

An excellent and quiet location. The hosts were fantastic and so welcoming. The apartment was well looked after, and the bedrooms were clean and very comfortable. There's plenty to do here for children, with climbing frames and toys. There are also lovely grounds & a garden with a pond and wildlife to wander round. If you are staying in the area and looking for somewhere quiet to base yourself, then I would highly recommend the Stutteri Skandihest.

Very nice location close to Billund airport, Legoland, Legohouse. Excellent for children. The owners Lars and Annika are very friendly and helpful. Lars had the BBQ pit running every day. We would like to return.

“Beautiful home outside of the city”

The location is a bit out of the beaten path so one would require a car to reach there. However, it is very beautiful to be out of the city so that was a positive thing for us. The owners are lovely, both Lars and Anika accommodated us in the best way possible. We appreciated the wine and the food. The home was also very clean and tidy. We loved there, and are looking forward to visiting again!

The location really in nature but still close to Billund. Next to that the very familiar welcome of the owner. There was also a nice place to sit outside at the fireplace.

“Lovely place to stay relaxed in the nature”

The property is beautiful with lot of space for kids play and enjoy the stay. Common area with fire place is also nice. Very good place to stay in family and rest with no noise and be relaxed.

A beautiful place outside the city. The place have several nice features for the kids - pirate ship, kids cars, tons of Lego, jumping place etc. Just let them outside to play and enjoy your coffee. :) Lars and Annika are great hosts. Lars showed around the farm and my daughter even had a chance to ride a horse there. In the evening can chat with hosts about literally anything while enjoying a glass of beer, wine or tea. Apartment itself was neat and warm. Next time I travel to Billund - definitely will stay here again.

Overall, it was beyond our expectations! Beautifully maintain garden with trampoline, playground and tent filled with legos. We could not ask for more. Kids have hard time to leave the property. Accommodation is cosy with well-equipped kitchen.
