A wonderful place to stay with children if you want peace and quiet away from the city. The house feels fresh and well-kept — everything inside is clean, comfortable, and looks almost new. It has all the essentials you might need for a family stay. The surrounding nature is absolutely beautiful, with a lovely walking trail that starts right by the house and winds through the property. It’s perfect for morning walks or exploring with the kids. The owners are extremely kind and helpful, living just next door, always ready to assist if you need anything. Another big plus is the location — Legoland is less than 10 minutes away, so it’s very convenient for families planning a visit. Overall, a perfect spot to relax, recharge, and enjoy the countryside atmosphere while staying close to all the fun attractions.

“A good and quiet place”
Excellent location to basecamp for a visit to Legoland Billund. The property is isolated from the main road in a quiet corner of countryside between a wood and cultivated fields. During our stay we spotted plenty of wild fauna such as deers, hogs and hares. Bad weather prevented us from using the gardens, since the house includes a big lawn area with fireplaces and tables for outside meals.

“Loved this beautiful countryside home with a superb host”
Kurt, the host, personally greeted us when we arrived and he was very helpful and friendly throughout our 4-night stay. The kitchen was well-equipped and the place was very homely. There were even boxes of lego for the kids to have fun with and swings outside. We particularly liked the fact that the hosts were living right next door in a separate house so we could approach them when we had questions but still maintained our privacy. It was only a 10-minute drive to Billund (Legohouse, Legoland, Lalandia, Netto, etc.) yet we could enjoy the peaceful surroundings. FYI, there is a washer and dryer but they aren't in the apartment. Kurt would willingly show you where they are.

Very peaceful and beautiful place. The apartment is great, clean, simple, comfy with all the gadgets and facilities required. We need a car to get there, but it's a really wonderful place to get rest, prepare some food, and enjoy.

“A very pleasant stay”
We were 3 adults and 2 kids(7 and 9 years old). The property is few minutes distance from the Billund airport by car(we have booked a car from the airport before we arrived in Billund). Kurt and his wife were really kind giving us information about the markets, restaurants and places to see around. The house is very nice, equiped with the things you need to cook yourself a breakfast or a dinner. We had a great time staying here, the kids could play outside in the evening after coming back from Legoland, and also in the morning, before leaving for Legoland, Wow park or the Zoo. The landscape is breathtaking. Birds singing. Very beautiful. We will definetelly recommend you and I am looking forward to see you again some day. I would have really liked to take a bike ride around the area. Maybe next time ;). Thank you!
