Charming house in idyllic spot - almost surreal to find a cosy home far away from everything full of art and beach-combing treasures. The beach and seals!! Greg and Leslie are wonderful hosts who have made Iceland their home. Greg did his utmost to help us out with car troubles and knew the people to call once that didn’t work out 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

The house is located in paradise. The route to get there is passable, also without a 4x4 car, at least in summer! We had the room with the balcony and the view is absolutely amazing. It's totally remote and quiet. We watched seals by the beach, heard and saw whales during our walk to the lighthouse.. absolutely recommend to stay there more than one night to enjoy the calmness.

The guesthouse has a self-service check-in and out and it was very convenient. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a washing machine, an oven, a microwave and all the utensils needed. Our room was upstairs and we had heavy luggage so it was a bit difficult to climb up the stairs but we managed to do it, the room was nice overall and we found chocolates on our beds as a welcoming gift which we appreciated a lot. Next to the entrance there should be an additional toilet but it wasn’t available during our stay. The hosts provided us fresh water, towels, sheets and blankets. The bathroom was amazing, it was very big (a bit cold though), and had a shower and a tub, which we didn’t use unfortunately, as well as two sinks. A hairdryer was provided as well.

“Cute and lovely guesthouse in a remote area.”
Very lovely guesthouse. I stayed at the room with balcony which can see beautiful fjord view. Room is quite spacious and comfortable. Nothing much is around the house so it is very quiet at night from the outside (see below). Very spacious shared bathroom.

“Magic germ”
The magic of the place.... it was our top destination regarding sirenity, wild life and the magnificence of the fiords... the family who accepted us became immidiatelly close as friends and at the same time we had so much space for ourselves outside and inside the house :)

Beautiful stay in middle of nowhere. Stunning views over the fjord and the seals. The inside is cosy and relaxing, a full kitchen to help yourself. And most of all Leslie and Greg are wonderfully hosts.

“Gorgeous”
The place was beautiful. The house is in the middle of the fjord right in front of the ocean and you have plenty of areas to explore and walk around. Greg, the owner, was kind and informative and the house was extremely clean!

“Amazing views.”
Leslie was very friendly. There was all the facilities you could need, even a little hot tub. The view was amazing. The rooms were comfortable and kitchen facilities were good.

Our stay at the Guesthouse was excellent, even though it was short. It's a little bit out of the way, BUT the surprise was evev bigger. The owners, Leslie and Craig, have done wonders, and the accommodation is excellent, and the owners are so hospitalitable. Great choice from us 👏👏

The hosts are very kind and the stylish house is located in a fantastic landscape. It is also possible to use a hot tub and a swimming pool. We had a great time here and I can highly recommend this place! We are coming back for sure.
