Great location in nature and yet super close to the city centre and the airport, super nice room with amazing view, very clean and organised and super nice staff! Will definitely come back!

Jonathan, who was on reception when we arrived and left, was superb, so helpful. The room was clean, the view was great and there was free street parking outside. Although the hotel is not in the centre of Bilboa there is a funicular railway within walking distance that will take you down into Bilboa and this was very convenient.

Jonathan was a superb host and very helpful for all of our stay. The views over the city were incredible and the balcony was fabulous. The bathroom and bedroom were clean and modern.

I don't remember the name but we had a very warm welcome and he helped us with the check-in of our room. The place was very clean. We could park for free at the front of the hotel but outside the property. Nice place to sit in the lobby with a nice view on the city.

For what i needed at the time it was fantastic , wifi , air con , showers and just a place to rest my head after very very long days , no bad words from me i am afraid , absolutely beautiful views too of bilbao just as you walk in the front door.

Excellent night at Hotel Artxanda . This was a last minute booking for us as we were passing through on a motorcycle tour of Spain and Portugal. The accommodation had everything we needed for a great night's stay. Would recommend

The room was lovely, a nice bathroom and a balcony with beautiful views. The free car space outside the premises was good. There is a bus stop outside the hotel that services Bilbao city centre every hour. The funicular is around 500 metres from it.

Too far out of the city centre.

We chose this hotel mainly because it had free parking and was about 2.5 km from the city center. The check-in was all automatic—no staff at the reception—but they did help us over the phone, which worked fine.

“It served a purpose, good location although suffered from not so good transport links after midnight”

Room was very small but had the basics of a comfy bed and private bathroom / shower, TV and air conditioning. Only downside was the size of the room compared to the image shown when booking. Price of the room was outrageous but then so were other hotels during the Europa League Cup Final. Location was good but transport links after midnight non existent. Not the fault of the hotel though. Plenty of free parking both inside the property and in the roadside. Property was spotlessly clean and massive shower. Owner was very helpful but not always available.
