“Great family stay in spacious clean comfortable apartment very close to city centre”

The moving beds were fun and it was really comfortable. The facilities were great, tv, well stocked kitchen and lovely bathroom. The apartment is much bigger than it looks in the pictures and very spacious. The location was great, 10 mins walk to the centre and although it’s hilly theres a street escalator for the journey up the hill which was great.

Great host, location was a good base for seeing everything, the apartment was very spacious and clean.

The apartment is in close proximity to the tram, as well as the train service which made it easy to get around. A very comfortable stay and Maria was an excellent host.

Just one of the best apartments I've stayed in,in all my travels. Clean and All the mod cons available. 10 minutes walk to the Old Town and public transport Metro Busses and Trams,20 minutes walk to the Guggenheim. Thank you for the bottle of wine and the use of the Barik transport cards that can be topped up online. Sure it's at the top of a steep hill but the escalator up helps with that. All and all I cannot recommend this apartment highly enough.

Probably one of the best places we stayed in! The flat is incredibly spacious, ideal for a family, and there are tons of little details that make you feel welcomed and at home. (Thanks for the breakfast and bottle of wine ❤️ Though the pictures were very representative, it was bigger than we expected. The location is also very handy.

What a perfect apartment in such a centrally located area! We stayed here for four nights before catching the ferry home, and it was ideal for our family of four—including two young kids aged one and seven. The apartment is beautifully set up for families, with thoughtful touches like a travel cot and plastic cutlery that made things so much easier. The space itself is gorgeous, spotlessly clean, and within walking distance of lovely local communities and attractions. We were able to park for free nearby every day, which was a huge bonus. The host was fantastic—very proactive and responsive. When we had a minor issue with the fridge, it was resolved immediately with no fuss. We would highly recommend both the apartment and the area. It really made our stay relaxing and memorable!

This is a beautiful, well-equipped apartment. It is within walking distance of all local amenities and has a bakery and supermarket, right opposite. The apartment has everything you need for a very comfortable stay in this lovely city.

Fully kitted out, ample sized apartment with all Bilbao’s best attractions close by. It’s just like taking your own home with you on vacation. We were really surprised by the level of fittings and what is supplied for use. Communication was clear, punctual and kind. We loved Bilbao and we loved staying here

“Nice Central Base for Exploring Bilbao”

We travelled as a family of four (two adults, two children). The host was kind and let us leave our luggage before check-in, which was very helpful. The apartment was clean and had enough space for sleeping. The kitchen was bigger than expected and had space for a dining table. We found a few things left by previous guests, and the host kindly left us a bottle of wine and fresh baguette – such a nice touch! The bathroom was modern, and we appreciated having a washing machine. The location was excellent – very central, close to the city hall, the river, a supermarket, and many restaurants. We really enjoyed walking along the river to the Guggenheim Museum – it’s a beautiful walk. Two Barik cards were available, which made public transport even easier. Getting around in Bilbao is simple and very affordable. There were a few small downsides: The apartment is in an older building and has a traditional water heater. The hot water wasn’t enough for four people to shower one after another. One of the bedrooms faces the street and can be very noisy at night – you need to keep the window closed to sleep well. The apartment is on the ground floor (1° in Spain), so we had to keep the shutters down for privacy and security. We also had to complete the tourist registration ourselves before receiving the access code. In other places, hosts did this for us using ID photos. Despite these small issues, we had a great time in Bilbao and felt very welcome.

“Perfect place for the stay in Bilbao and Maria is a great host”

The apartament has a perfect localisation, close to Googenheim, Casco Viejo (old town) and many other attractions in Bilbao. Very good communication with the owner. Maria is a perfect host. She prepared everything, cofee tea, salt pepper, butter and brad prepared for guests. 1 day before arrival we've got from Maria all needed instructions incl. transportation, what to visit, metro etc.
