I love the location: it's in a quiet street with supermarkets, restaurants, public transport all within walking distance. The apartment has all the amenities for a short and longer stay. Indoors remains cool even when it's hot outside.

The apartment was very cute and easy. not lavish, but comfortable and well located with everything you need and lots of nice touches from the owners. However the highlight was the host INES. Brilliant communication all the way through, truly lovely and caring, and couldn't do enough to help you. The communication really was exceptional from such a lovely person.

“Functional and good located apartment”

Ines is a friendly and helpful host. The kitchen was the best equipped one we have seen during our journey through northern Spain. The apartment is very close to the center of the old part of the city (Casco Veijo) and only a few minutes walk to the next metro station (Casco Veijo, approx. 6-8 min.). A decent supermarket is right around the corner and it is a quiet area. Two separate bed rooms and a big living room.

“Wonderful apartment close to everything”

This is the only property in our month long trip that put thought in to what a guest may need. The property itself is well set out and on the ground floor with little noise from the street. On entry there was milk in the fridge, complimentary biscuits, razors and hygiene products just in case they were needed. It’s a short walk from some lovely pintxos bars and supermarkets

The apartment looks better in real life than in the pictures and is pretty spacious and made for a very comfortable stay for a family of 4. Nice touches from the host also made our stay that bit more comfortable such as having kids books and toys in the boxes below the TV, a Nespresso machine with pods, a packet of welcome cookies which were appreciated on our arrival. There was also a topped up travel card for our use which came in handy when the kids were tired and wanted to try the tram or underground. The card worked well as a tap and go and we just topped it back up for the next guest. The location was also great at the back of old town which meant we were close to the bustle but not in it this also had the benefit of having locals amenities nearby like a supermarket and neighbourhood bars and pintxos; I liked Maite Taberna which is just up the hill and like most of Bilbao near a play park which was great for us. We stayed here for 4 nights and Bilbao for 5 in total and there was a surprising amount to do that I don't feel I have done it all and would come back just for the pintxos bars.

“Fantastic location, great apartment.”

This apartment is in a really convenient location to allow you to explore the area. The host was extremely helpful and available throughout our stay. We had an issue booking a return transfer to the airport, and Ines (the host) arranged a taxi for us instead which was really appreciated as we had struggled to get hold of any taxis that could help. There were goodies left for us (fresh bread, butter, jams, tea, coffee, cookies) which were unexpected. We had a great stay.

Perfect location to explore Bilbao's Casco Viejo and surroundings. The beds are indeed comfortable and the apartment is also very spacious. One can also use the many different kitchen facilities to prepare breakfast and so on.

It's a comfortable, well appointed apartment in a great location close to the old town. Ines is a good host who communicated well. We enjoyed our stay.
