We spent three days in Bilbao, and the apartment's location is excellent – ​​just a 5-minute walk to Plaza Mayor, making access to the bustling city center easy. The apartment is located on a street where locals live, not just tourists. The apartment is well-equipped, with carefully selected furniture. The kitchen is equipped with all possible amenities. It's extremely clean. Communication with the owner is excellent. The apartment has two bathrooms but one toilet, which may be a bit of a nuisance for some. There's nearby parking, we left a car for all that time. And it's worth noting – there's a bar on the ground floor, open late into the night. The conversations coming from the bar didn't bother us at all, but for those seeking a quieter atmosphere, it might be a significant inconvenience.

“Great apartment just south of Casco Viejo”

The apartment was cool (in a narrow street so protected from the sun, if a little sombre as a consequence) and very comfortable. It is really nicely decorated in an idiosyncratic way which makes you feel at home rather than in rented accommodation . The photos do not do justice to the flat. Transport around Bilbao is easy with the tram stop Atxuri only metres away and walking is also pretty easy for those who enjoy stretching their legs. The Casco Viejo is very close with the new town or Escanche a little further off (but on the tram route). The host, Tamara is superb - really helpful with advice and tips. She gave us a Barik card to use which you can top up with credits and obtain significant discounts on all forms of transport.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this delightful property, and we can't praise the hostess enough for her hospitality. Tamara was incredibly helpful, ensuring that all our needs were met and even offering great local tips to enhance our experience. Tamara not only bought some food for our breakfasts but organised bus tickets and taxis for us. The location was simply perfect, allowing us easy access to nearby attractions. While there was quite some nighttime noise (in the bedroom overlooking the street), it didn't detract from the overall enjoyment of our stay.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The photos don't do it justice. It was exceptionally clean, a great location and quiet, and peaceful. The thing that makes this property are the small details. Tamara and Oskar were very responsive and helpful. I wish we could have spent more time here. We will certainly be back.

“Lovely apartment close to old town”

Very comfortable apartment. Lots of info and little extras left by host, snacks coffee etc. Host kept in touch to make sure all was okay. Close to Old Town. Parking available

“Good and welcoming”

The host was very friendly and immediately gave us a short tour of the supermarket and the breakfast cafe after handing over the keys. Later we received apps with information about good bars and restaurants.

Fabulous apartment with great facilities and in a good location. Close to Old Town and a supermarket on the corner. Oskar and Tamara were very helpful.
