Finca Amistad Cacao Lodge offers 60 hectares of Cocoa farm and guests can enjoy tours, chocolate and bird watching. The accommodation features a seating area. Some units have a terrace and/or balcony with mountain or river views. A fridge and kettle are also featured. Some units also have a kitchenette, equipped with a microwave and toaster. “A warm stay with delicious chocolate!”
We really enjoyed our stay! We were warmly welcomed with (hot) chocolate and even more chocolate to eat, produced on the finca itself. The staff is super friendly. The included cacao tour is fun and educational, truly a must do! The cottage is spacious and charming, and the bed is nice and big. The atmosphere at this finca is very pleasant and peaceful. One of our best stays in Costa Rica! Tip: Their cacao beans with 70% chocolate are super tasty! Buy them there, at the finca! We thought we could still buy them at the airport (due to the heat and long travel days ahead), but unfortunately not! Already miss it!

This was our favourite stay during our trip. Would have loved to stay longer and really explore the entire property. The food was amazing and the service was exceptional! Two nights here would have been perfect, highly recommended.

“Memorable”

“Wonderful stay at Finca Amistad”
We really enjoyed everything at the cacao lodge. The staff was exceptionally nice, hospitable and helpful. Breakfasts were very good generous and tasty. The complementary spa and cacao farm tours were a very nice addition to our stay. Very happy we chose Finca Amistad. Highly recommended.

Absolutely everything! Don’t want to take away all the little surprise which you will experience during your stay there. Can not recommend it highly enough enough, also definitely book their chocolate cooking class in case you are interested

“Magical stay at this finca!”
Beautiful, quiet place right in the jungle. We loved it here so much, unfortunately we could only stay one night. :-( The staff at dinner and breakfast was so lovely, the lady boss was very kind. The room, all made of wood, was so cozy, really big, special and privat. The free, privat hour in the spa was so special!! Never hat that before in CR. Also the included Cacao-tour on the next morning was great! So much magic happens on this finca. Don't miss to stay here if you're heading to Tenorio NP. 100% recommended!!!

interesting lodge, good local breakfast, also the local dinner is very good although you cant choose. you"only" get a variety of different things. super friendly staff, some speak very good english some less, but no communication problem at all. one of the best things is the cacao workshop where you make your own chocolate, from bean to bar, i would recommend to stay 2nights to get the full program, including farm walk ,tour and workshop

“Nice stay overall”

“Great farmstay”
Great farm stay with super friendly people. The chocolate making is a must. Also the food and drinks are really nice! Overall also good space in clean bungalows. Everything was working well. Great area all together with man birds and frogs. Also saw some monkeys once. The spa is really great too!

“AMAZING finca in Rio Celeste”
Amazing lodge. Our room (Tenorio), surrounded by nature, was great. The bed was excellent!!!! Hot shower always!!!!! The food was fantastic. The cacao tour so informative and delicious in the end. The staff was kind and helpful. I do recommend it.
