“A lovely place to stay”

This was a wonderful place to stay - in a great little cabin in a lovely garden surrounded by birds, a sloth and even a wee snake in a shrub at reception! Lovely breakfasts were included in the price and were so nice surrounded by hummingbirds etc. The lodge itself is in a fab spot, so peaceful and close to the township of Bijagua

Wonderful garden, with a lot of birds paying a visit. Beautiful private trail, where you can see coati, toucans and whitefaced monkeys.

I LOVED this private river access and hiking trail on the property, if you like a little adventure, this is the place for you. Simple but comfortable and sweet.

Clean and nice in the middle of trees. Staff very helpful. Good breakfast.

Wooden houses spread sparsely across a large private area. Lots of greenery. Private walking path to a waterfall. On site free parking. Friendly staff. Good breakfasts. Comfortable bed. Free pool with warm water.

Very nice place , very cute, the people who work there are very nice ! Completely in the nature, and the waterfalls are wow!! Plus Good food.

Lovely staff, amazing hike to waterfall

Wonderful place, surrounded by nature, very spacious and clean cabin. Very kind staff, good breakfast. But the best thing about this stay are the hikes to the waterfall and river. Secluded and with an amazing reward at the end.

“Lovely peaceful location near jungle and waterfall walk”

Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Very peaceful setting if you want to be immersed in nature, with plenty of hummingbirds flitting in gardens. Substantial breakfast and evening meal (need to prebook) was tasty. Kettle in room was handy and warm shower. Easy drive to Bijagua and Tenorio Volcano Park and Rio Celeste. Shown frogs in garden at night and evening view of Tenorio from terrace.

Beautiful area! we went to travel to the warerfall, inside the jungle . The lodge has beautiful gardens and nice spaces

The grounds are very well maintained and the restaurant has a perfect view of all the birds that come by a visit the feeding stations. And don't forget to take a hike to the the river for a nice splash in the afternoon

the hike on the property is beautiful and private- we swam in the waterfall just the two of us. The room was gorgeous. I would highly recommend this place, especially for a couple. the food was delicious- they served a free breakfast with plantain, fresh juice, delicious eggs and the eating area has a great ambiance.

The property is beautiful, such a lush tropical paradise filled with birds and other critters... we were lucky enough to be visited by a quati in the backyard behind our cabin, which was the right balance between rustic and comfortable. Dinner and breakfast were delicious.
